Quebec City

It was the first night of the tour and what a way to start off... Quebec... Well what can I say, I love you!

Firstly, if you have never been to Quebec, you have to go, everyone is so lovely and the city is gorgeous... seriously it's beautiful and fascinating and full of history and culture. Steve and I walked around shopping today and we have such a great time exploring the city. I loved it.

Next was the show... I have to say I was a little nervous because of the language barrier and the fact that I don't speak french, but with the help of the translator Marie, I was able to say 2 lines which told everyone I didn't speak French but I am thanking them from the bottom of my heart for being there. Honestly I have found this city so romantic and passionate. If only I had a special someone to share it with... I was watching the skaters skate by holding hands and stopping for the occasional kiss... it was so adorable!

The show was different, my normal humor was difficult as often it was lost in translation from me, but Marie was amazing and the readings were fabulous and we had some really moving readings and as soon as Marie and I found our groove we were off, I spoke then she translated... just perfect.

after I met people and I must say, and I know I have said it already but everyone was SO nice... just lovely. I have never felt so much love in the room until tonight. And it's true what people say about the french they are passionate people, and I love it!

I am so glad that I was able to come to Quebec and really experience it, like I have, and I get to come back again on Wednesday night.

Its interesting, how you find that when you communicate, no matter what language that you are speaking, if you want to get through to someone you will always find a way, whether it's through sign language, google translate, email or pictures, there is always a way... and that is what I love. Once Marie and I got the groove there was no stopping us and it really was a team effort in making it happen and working as a team is the best thing. I have the greatest team around me and I want to say thank you to them.

Jonesy, Caroline and Joleen in the office who beaver away and make everything run smooth, Ryan and Steve on the road who look after my every need, the moderators on the site, the LW members and then I have other people behind me who oil the cogs that keep the wheel moving.. it's important to honor everyone whether they are temporary LW team members or not...

Honoring those that help us out is important it makes people feel valued and wanted. So take time today to honor those who are important in your lives... we all need to hear it occasionally!

Much love

Lisa xx

Lisa:

Wow...now I have to put Quebec on my list of places to visit along with Australia. All of your trips are giving me ideas of what to put on my "bucket list" of places to go before my time is up!
My parents took my younger brother to Quebec many years ago, and they loved it also. My Father's mother was from France so he was very influenced by the French style and really appreciated the people plus the scenery. I'm glad you are enjoying yourself by doing some sightseeing with your good buddies. It sounds like you have a good team on your side and that is a blessing
Have fun!

HI MY LOVE,

I AM THRILLED THAT YOUR TIME IN QUEBEC IS GREAT AND I AM SURE MONTREAL WILL BE THE SAME.
i AM ORIGINALLY FROM MASSENA N.Y. AND WHEN I WAS GROWING UP WE WENT TO QUEBEC QUITE A LOT AND ALSO TO MONTREAL WAS ABOUT AN HOUR AWAY. BOTH PLACES HAVE SO MUCH BEAUTY AND HISTORY .

ANYWAY, MY LOVE, YOU DO SOUND SO MUCH HAPPIER AND I CAN SENSE THE FREEDOM OF SPIRIT FLOWING FROM YOUR INNER BEING.

SAFE TRAVELS MY DEAR FRIEND AND DO GIVE CHARLIE A BIG HUG FOR ME WHEN YOU GET HOME.

I WILL SEE YOU IN MAY AT THE WORKSHOP. I MISS YOU SO MUCH.

LOVE TO YOU ALWAYS,
MARY

Bonjour Lisa ! I just read all the comments on your blog regarding your Québec City show and the only thing I can say is that I can't wait to see you ! I'm from Montréal but I was lucky to get one ticket for your wednesday March 17th appearance in Québec city. It's funny because I was trying for awhile to get at least on ticket and I was'nt succesful...Then I asked my mother who passed away and went online and to my great surprise, one ticket was now available ! I'm also very happy to see that the language was not a barrier and that you enjoyed our passionate temper ! As we say in French : " On t'aime " !

Hi Lisa,
I'm so glad you came to Québec, so you can see that we love you and you can help us find faith. I wish I could have gone to your show at the Capitol, but my parents will be there on Thursday night. My mother and I are always looking for signs from above, but it's so difficult to see in the world we live in.... you are the only medium I truly believe in, and I wish I knew what you know about the afterlife, that way I would never have to be afraid. I know you have no control over the spirits's messages, but it would be ever so appreciated if you could say something to my mother during your conference. Her name is Christyne and she never misses your show. I think she will be on the balcony.
Thank you so much, continue healing souls.
Lots of love, Valerie from Chicoutimi, Québec./

Lisa,

You make Quebec sound like somewhere I need to visit someday.

Your blog recently regarding therapy, I just wanted to share and say I have been there and I understand and support you a hundred percent. The great thing is, it is showing in your blogs, they are more upbeat and inspiring (not that they are never inspiring, because you always give us something to think about).

Take care of yourself, enjoy yourself, stay safe and God Bless you for what you do for others. And for now, since you are not going to be anywhere close to where I live, I want a virtual Lisa hug, as I hear your hugs are the best. (((((HUGS)))))

I'm so happy you are enjoying Quebec! I took 3 years of French in High School...but I can't say a lot....I can say, "What time is it?" and "I like to swim." and "You look like a praying mantis." lol. I've never seen a medium working live before! You are such a loving and generous person....can't wait to see you in Fort Wayne, IN! I come from a smaller city near Fort Wayne, called Kendallville....the people are so nice here...we are like a huge family. :) I hope you experience the love Indiana has for you too this Saturday, Lisa!
HUGS!

Hi Lisa and Everyone,
Thanks Lisa for rekindling my feelings on honoring people in our lives. I hold you and everyone on this site with the highest honor I have in my heart. I was going through a bad time in my life (not through it all yet) and so many of you honorable people here stepped up and gave me your support during this time. People have asked me how I got through it, and when I tell them of my friends here and how you held me together, it swells my heart and makes me cry with gratitude. I have not forgotten you, and I honor you always. Love to you all, Donnag
