You can achieve anything you wish
Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 11:01PM Well the days are creeping by and the deadline is looming and I have to say I have just finished the first edit of the book. We are all in the office crazy busy reading and editing and making sure that the book is heading to Hayhouse in the best possible format.
It's been a learning curve for me. and a huge one at that. Honestly although there is a book out there with my name on the cover, I had a 'ghost' writer (pardon the pun) and Pablo was amazing but this book is something that I personally have written.
I never thought I could or would be able to write anything like this and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Seriously, I was so nervous about writing it, I thought I was going to need a ghost writer, but the more I started to write the more it started to flow and I actually called Jonesy up on Friday as I was editing and asked her if they were really my words because I was blown away with the information that I had given across.
What this goes to show is that I have achieved something that I never thought I would. Having been put down for my grammer and punctuation and other things at school, and not being able to write an essay, I didn't think I could do this, but here I am elated that I have and I am about to edit the book for the second time and I am overwhelmed with it.
What is goes to show is that you CAN do anything you put your mind to, it is there as a learning curve and you can do anything you want, it's just our own thoughts that stop us from moving on and taking the step further.
so learn from this, because I seriously didn't think I could do it. It hasn't been easy but I have learnt so much but know that you can make changes and do anything that you put your mind to and you will surprise yourself, even though there are probably so many others who have faith in you.
I am looking forward to Wednesday when I can regain my life and normal service will be resumed!
Thank you so much for supporting me and I love you all for that.
Much love
Lisa xx

Dear Lisa,
First of all.... yay, yay, yay for the comments section re-opening. I know there will be some non-members as excited as I am to see that we are back in action and able to respond to your blogs and also to interact and help each other again. Thank you for sorting things out for us and I hope the unpleasantness settled down from your point of view as well.
As for your book writing... you have reason to be extremely proud of yourself. I can imagine it must be a huge breakthrough for you especially if you didn't think you could achieve this particular form of creativity. You have such a beautiful soul and mind that shines through for all of us to see, it was just a case of taking one sentence at a time and being true to who you are and what is in your heart and the rest would have unfolded naturally as the words flowed. I am so looking forward to reading your book and I hope, as in the first book, that you share Charlie with us and add in some of those beautiful photos as well. I love who you are and I am so looking forward to you sharing your life experiences with us. Good luck with the editing and getting it into print. I am sure it will all come together since I know you have a tremendous team that loves and supports you every step of the way. Nothing is insurmountable when one has true friends to depend on and who believe in you.
Thanks once again for re-opening comments. I know Noraa from Singapore for one is going to be over the moon... she has been nagging you on facebook.
Hugs and peace,
Jeanette

Hey Lisa,
I just wanted to say thank you for who you are and what you do it truly takes a special person to give so much and so unselfishly, you really do make a difference god bless. Also can't wait to read the new book congradulations. lisa
Hi, Lisa - I'm so looking forward to reading your new book. There's a huge difference from writing an assignment in school and writing about what's in your heart and soul. I love your writing style - it's so conversational and inviting!
When you feel inspired, nothing can stop you. Congrats!!
Rock on Lisa!!! So proud of you girl. When they say you can't, do it anyway. Woohoo!!! I love it. Punctuation and grammar are totally overrated anyway. :) It is all about the creativity, ideas, and messages put on paper. Someone can write in perfect grammer and also put someone to sleep... remember those old school text books. ha, ha It never failed, I would start out with good intentions, but some of those books would just put me to sleep. :)
Love and Hugs,
DS
Congrats Lisa! Cannot WAIT to read it!!! thank you for all your hard work in bringing this info to the world! what you do is so important and needed. Bravo
