Reasons for everything!

The weather stopped us from getting to our destination last night, and for some reason we missed our original flight and the standby flight... not for any reason just that we 'forgot' to check the board! Yes I know stupid really, but neither of us cared, and you know how I said earlier in the week things happen for a reason, well this was one of them.

The original flight that we should have been on, was stuck on the runway, and didn't take off until 4 hours later!!! Kev would have gone stir crazy! We actually ended up driving from Boston to Newark!

So there was a reason for missing the flight.

Anyway, the media has been hyped with all the news of the passings of Michael Jackson Farrah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon. And interestingly enough I have connections to the family to all these people, which I find really strange, and a personal friend of mine is a close friend of the Jacksons family and she was the first person I called when I heard the news and sadly I was the one who had to break it to her.

But having done this work for a period of time, I do know that where they are now, there is no suffering and pain, and I hope that eases the pain of those who have suffered loses recently.

My thoughts are with their families.

On a brighter note, we are officially on Holiday!!! whoohoo. I am so happy for that, time to spend relaxing and having fun!

Kev is also very conscious that he set everyone a task, in his last Blog. And he is going to blog again in the next few weeks so you have time to work on that task of achieving something you never thought you would!

So I will be back in the next few days, so have fun and remember to smile, the world is a beautiful place, if we only take time to stop and embrace it!

With love

Lisa xx

Thanks again for another beautiful blog Lisa. I needed the comforting words of support that our loved ones who have passed are at peace & no longer suffering. Yes, it's us, the family who are suffering in grief for their loss because we miss & love them so much. Happy Vacation!!! xoxoxo

Hi Lisa...we miss you, but glad u r having time with family. I have been sooo sad and sooo bothered by Michael Jackson's death. I am saddned over Farrah because she fought so long and so hard and Redmond wasn't there with her when it happened. As far as Michael Jackson, I agree with Lise....I just never thought he could die. What an incredible life. I know he had some issues that we don't understand fully...but I never thought he was the monster he was made out to be. He was a gentle soul. I hope he comes to you and you are able to share his peace. I know the family doesn't believe in the whole "witchy woo" stuff....but we know, don't we.....I hope he truly does have peace and is able to help guide his kids thru what is about to become the biggest dog and pony show ever. The same with Farrah. I hope she can guide Redmond thru all his troubled waters. And as far as Ed McMahon.....he is an angel. Peace to you Lisa.....

Lisa,

I watch your program all the time and I wish you lived here in NY so you could just walk up to me on the street and tell me about my loved one that recently passed. I am in such agony over this! Is there any way to contact you?

Dear Lisa I am so excited at being able to read your blog. We here in New Zealand were able to view your American programmes for a while but the programmes have finished and then my Daughter found you on the Web and gifted me with the regristration. So I am now able to keep up with you and your Family. I absolutely loved watching your shows amazing. We are probably a lot behind to where you are at, at the moment but it still intrigues me and I love the shows. I am a Nana with custody of my three grandchildren 10yr boy twin girls 12yrs and they were all saddened at the passing of M. Jackson. So sudden. It does make us all appreciate life as it can be so short. Many Thanks Lisa.

I would be very interested to know what you make of Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and her "Michael Spirits", and of Michael Newton and his books Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls. Chelsea gives us a very broad picture of the afterlife, which includes our physical plane, the closely connected astral plane (where our "dead" are), and a number of other planes of existence. Michael Newton focuses on the astral plane only, as far as I can tell, and gives tons of information about what it is like. None of it conflicts with the things you discuss on your shows. They dovetail very well together. My email is lfbno7@aol.com in case I don't find this particular comment board again.

When l was younger l was never really a huge Micheal Jackson fan. Yes,l did enjoy some of his songs but wasn't a 'oh my God, l love you 'fan. l was more into Bon Jovi,Kylie Minogue,Fleetwood Mac kinda girl.Oh, don't forget the Noelene Sisters. All the music channels on pay tv are playing Micheal Jacksons songs and l have decided the man really was trying to change the world . l have been listening to the words to his songs and he was unbelievable. The messages behind most of his songs are that of peace, love and non-judgement. Now as an adult,l really appreciate what it is he had to say through his music. Music is such a powerful way to express yourself . Just the other night me and my two daughters who are 6 and 7 and my 21 month old son danced around the kitchen to the BIG CHILL cd. It was so much fun and a great stress relief. By the time my husband got home the energy in the house was fantastic. Sing ,dance and be merry, life is to short. Enjoy it,embrace it and love who you are. Safe journeys Lisa and see you in Melbourne.Hugs and Kisses Rachaelxxx

You are so right Lisa. My Mom always told us things happen for a reason, even if we don't understand that reason at the time. A friend of my daughter's died the same day Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died. My son and daughter just graduated on Saturday, and their friend was to graduate with them. She was in a terrible car accident on this past Monday and was thrown from the car. Her poor parents had her disconnected from life support and she died peacefully. It is so hard to understand why someone so young and full of life has to pass. I look at my Sarah and Charles and thank God they are healthy and although I so worry about them, I know my parents watch over them from beyond the veil. I truly hope there is someone to watch over sweet Rachel. I also hope MJ and Farrah can find the peace they deserve.

Thank you for being such a wonderful role model and for sharing your gift with the world. My daughter and my sister and her partner were at your Rochester show. You gave my sis in law such peace. She has been seeing deer in places they don't normally appear and she knows it is her Father telling her he is near. You gave her that gift and I bless you for that. You are a treasure to all of us.

Blessed be
Charlene

Hi Lisa,

So much sadness, it is hard not to be affected by it all.
My heart goes out to all who are suffering.

Dearest Sweetest Lisa
You are so deserving of a loooong relaxing, recharging and playful holiday. Hope you fit in every little wish you have for this break. We will still be there supporting you even if you take a break from blogging now and then..

After your blog on ...maybe the time just isn't right yet. I decided to put the whole reading thing on hold. Then my first acupuncture patient has just lost her best friend in suicide and she appears to me before her session.. . . Very strange; -she had no regrets and was so calm and decisive...
Next another patient I believe has her guide with her and so I tell her that, but he calls her: " my daughter"....She lost her dad at the age of two,....
So I guess the time is now!!?
Thank you SO much for giving of yourself so easily and generously, you inspire all of us to be of help and maybe say what we see.

lisa,
my name is jenna williams and i have recently discovered that you are touring australia. my mother, janene, and i have watched every episode of your show that has been aired in australia and were devistated when they stopped. my mum called it her "theorpy time" as watching your show was the only greiving time she gave herself after her mother died 4 years ago. when i heard that you were touring i was overwhelmed with joy, i knew that this was just what my mum needed, but to my surprise she didnt want to go. she told me that she didnt want to cry infront of everyone and even the thought of attending your live performance made her tear up. i am writing in hope that you would be able to do a one on one reading whist touring, my mum needs to hear from her mum and dad to help her move on instead of ignoring the dwelling grief of the loss of her ever loving mother and also to shed some light on the suspicions surrounding her fathers "accidental" death.
if anyhting can be done i would be ever greatful.
thankyou for taking the time to read this and i hope with all my heart that we may meet one day,
yours thankfully,
jenna williams

Hey Lisa,
Hope you and Kev (and Charlie???) are enjoying your well earned break. :)

Yes, very sad news about MJ and FF (not sure who Ed McM is).
Michael Jackson had a very tragic downward spiral towards the end of his life, but I think there is a lesson for all of humanity in his life and his death. It's all about looking at the judgment of others who seem to be different. How quick people are to latch onto the latest media gossip and suddenly turn against a celebrity just because the TV, newspaper or magazine does so. Rumour and innuendo magically become fact, without questioning. It wouldn't have been easy to be MJ. His life reminds me a lot of the Edward Scissorhands film, where he is adored and used, then quickly admonished by the judging crowd, resulting in his reclusive withdrawal from everyone. It's interesting how MJ's CD sales have now gone crazy, AFTER his death.............go figure! Humans are such crazy, strange creatures sometimes, eh.
It's really quite sad.

Anyway, I'm off my soap box now,
that's just my thoughts on it,
Condolences to the families and friends of these celebs,

Deb R.

You're right, things always happen for a reason. I'll try to tell myself those words again in case my mother does not make her flight from Chicago to Phoenix. My aunt called a few minutes ago to let me know my mother needed her confirmation number. She called at 9:27am (Chicago time) and her flight departs at 10:15am. I almost added an exclamation mark to 10:15am, but I'm remembering "things happen for a reason". I'm getting married Saturday, July 4th. I plan to see fire works for many, many years. I miss seeing you on LIFETIME. I love your show! I think I see my grandmother in my dreams. Love you!
