New Friends
Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 08:30PM Well as I have mentioned before it's been a whirlwind of change which is always good, but with that change have come new friends. I couldn't believe it that less than a month ago I was thrown into a situation with 2 people, 1 I had met briefly before and the other I had never laid eyes on. But for some reason I knew them.
Then along came someone else added into the mix recently and it was like the 4 of us (3 of them had already been friend for years) were all thrown together for a reason. I think I know the reason, but its about growth for all of us. We are all at the beginning or endings of eras in our lives, and we were put together to help each other. Mine as we all know is a career pathway, and the more I think about it the more I get excited, but more to come on that in the next few weeks... (sorry to leave you hanging).
But the girls (the 4 of us) have laughed and cried and supported each other like something I have never experienced before except with Janey and Jonesy.
I sat with one of the girls yesterday and she said that when she met me she felt she knew me, and to be honest I couldn't remember ever meeting her... and that to me is when I know I have had a past life with someone else... it was like that with Janey and Jonesy... even though Jonesy will tell you some embarrassing stories about that first time!! but then again I'm sure Janey can too!!! ha ha ha
As I left the I Can Do It in Tampa today, I reflected back on the friends I have, who are very very dear, and the new friends I have made and I now know that there is always room in your life for new people. People who can help you change, people who can help you grow and people who can support you, and in turn you will do the same to them.
So I would like to say thank you to my new friends who are incredible and I feel very complete to have them in my life, and for them to be part of the journey with me.
Value who you have in your life, know that there is always room to bring new light in and help each other to grow.
Much love
Lisa xx

New "Old" Friends: A good reminder to each of us that it is good not to "disconnect" from new friends because we have cherished old. Chances are there is purpose in each new meeting, each new friend, who may have journeyed with us long before this lifetime and could be our most precious acquaintances from The Other Side, and our best cheerleaders or those opening new pathways for the remainder of this journey.
Thanks for this Blog!
Great blog.. and Great comment Kim! I loved how you put that. =)

New friends are GREAT!!! New OLD friends are just priceless... It's lovely to hear you are meeting members from your Soul Group, Lisa. Your energy is contagious- can't wait to hear more about your new life, new path, new friends!!! Blessings on your week <3
I always keep my antennae out for those I have known from past lives. It is like reclaiming missing pieces of oneself, and sometimes they come with past life memories. It is a great blessing Lisa and you have described the deep joy of that experience. Thank you,
Love, Peace and Light!

Oh dear Lisa, I hope what you're going through is not too difficult. You are such an amazing person, so it's only normal that your friends are here for you, as you spend your time listening and helping your friends and everybody in the whole world.
You are perfectly right about friends. We always have to be grateful for those who are loving us and helping us. In my life, my friends have always been the ones who saved me. Especially last year when I had to find a place to live and so many of them offered me to stay with them when my mother didn't and without them, I don't know what I would have done. They are real angels...
Lately I've been reading your book and I love it, it's so interesting that I try not to read too much at the same time so it can last ;-)
I send you much love Lisa,
Lise
Thanks for letting us know what you are up to, Lisa.

Hi Lisa, great blog and you seem so happy and excited about all the new and wonderful things happening in your life, good for you!!! I too met some new friends a little over a year ago and right away all of us felt like we have known each other for years and I tried to tell them that we probably all knew each other in some past life, boy did they want to hear more about that. When you next come to WI I have a bunch of people who want to go with me.
Love & Hugs, Judi :)
Hi Lisa...Congratulations on all these new exciting changes in your life. You handle it so gracefully.
Hey there Lisa,
This is such a beautiful blog that says alot about the connections we make in our lives. People come into our lives at different times and for different reasons. Sometimes we have to open ourselves up before this happens...give ourselves permission to explore and not be afraid to let others see us for who we are. The beauty about friendships and connections is that there is always room for one more as it only makes our heart grow and expand with more light. So I guess what I am saying is that one light does not replace another (as one friend does not replace another) because those special people that touch us have a uniqueness that we incorporate into our hearts and they remain in that special reserved place.
It is wonderful when you have a friendship that is open and honest with no judgement. Someone you can chill with and just be down right freaky silly. You need people that just love you unconditionally and accept you for who you are without trying to control you or change you. It is so liberating to be silly and free yet intense and loving. Those are the types of connections that do last a lifetime.
Love and Hugs to you,
DS

Dear Lisa,
It is so wonderful to hear that you have made new friends at this pivotal time in your life. I hope they become a very important part of your life.
I would just like to pay homage to old friends.... I just received an email from a good friend of mine who I haven't communicated with for about 15 years. She has been living in America for many years now, while I live in South Africa. In the time that we haven't kept contact our children have grown up and had children of their own, so we are both proud grandparents. She has been through a divorce, a bad car accident, and many other life changing experiences. It has been so wonderful to speak to her again and it is as though we had never parted. I find it truly amazing how one can lose contact with a friend and then pick up again as though it was yesterday when you last spoke to them. I find that has happened with all my dearest friends. Being a bit of an introvert, I don't socialise that much, and because we also move around rather a lot, I have not met anyone recently whom I am especially close to. However, I have some close friends who I met 40 years ago, and others who I met 25 years ago. We have had phases where we have had no or very little contact, and then suddenly circumstances allow that we get together again or chat over the phone or by email, and it is like we never parted and just take up where we left off with the same closeness and understanding. Over the past few months there are a few of these friends that I have reconnected with and I feel truly blessed having these wonderful friends in my life.
So, to all long-standing friends, thank you for the precious bonds that I have with you. I will be eternally grateful for the blessings of friendship that I have in abundance.
God bless,
Jeanette
Whats the old saying?
Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver, the other gold. :)
Lisa,
I know exactly what you mean about the I Can Do It Conference in Tampa bringing you together w/ people that change your life!! At the Conference I met an amazing person who truly blessed me with her abilities. Her name was Melissa Hevenor. The saying everything happens for a reason really resonates b/c of the way we met. She gave me an amazing reading that answered so many questions I have been having lately and I can't wait to meet with her again....amazing....amazing....amazing. I am so grateful as well for being at this conference!!!!!! I can't wait to read your book:) Teresa

What a wonderful saying... I must remember it.

Lisa ,
You are so right about new friends they are the best ! We attended the cruise with you and met up with a powerful young psychic named Melissa Hevenor , I think you know her . She did a reading for my husband and myself . I tell you she is right on with her information . She knew things that no one could have known about both of us, and loved ones we had lost . Even when I asked her to give me more so I could be sure she was the real deal , she did and came up with something to validate that no one knew except my husband knew about my family . We have become friends and like you , we feel connected somehow too . I admire and respect her . She is as caring as you are , so yes new friends are always there to help us grow and she is my newest !
Love and hugs !
Lovely blog Lisa...always !!!
Love and hugzz xx
