Finally!!!

Well the day has come... yes it's here... OMG...
The book is officially launched!!! WHOOHOO, I can't tell you how excited I am, not to mention stressed!!! I've been working my butt off to make this happen and to make sure everyone knows about it.
There have been a few melt downs along the way, but after all, I'm only human... haha.
But it was a massive learning curve and a period of growth also. After my first book, I never really thought I was an author. I mean, yes I had 'written' a book with a (pardon the pun) ghost writer... and yes I edited that book and injected my personality it to it. But I didn't sit down and type the words completely.
When I went to events and people were calling me an author I didn't feel it. However I was... I know so many people write using a ghost writer but to me, I wanted to put the hard work, pain and sweat into it... oh boy, do you get what you ask for!
I have to believe that I could do it. I have to start to believe that I was an author... I have to really believe in myself. That wasn't easy. I know I love to blog and I write from the heart and I call it brain dumping, but it was more than this... I had to challenge my slightly dyslexic brain and tap away at the keys. And I did it... I believed in the fact that I could do it.
It started off with brain dumping, and that was it... I was on a roll. With help from my friends who kept me off FaceBook and questioned every part of the book, and others who persevered with me through my mood swings, unsocial behavior, the book started to take shape... and before I knew it I was 70, 000 words in... and not even complete.
Whoohoo I was writing a book...but the the side of me that doubted myself kicked in when I was told I needed an editor... Ugh... I felt a failure. But again that belief system kicked in and that was it... I started to research and discovered that even some of the most famous authors have them...
So that was it... I was back... I met with my fabulous editor Nancy and the ball was rolling. She corrected grammar and so many other things and I couldn't believe it when it was done... It was almost painless!! haha
But what it showed me is that you can do anything you want, when you put your mind to it, and you start to believe in yourself. But most importantly you start to see yourself as the person that everyone else sees. For me, I had to see myself as an author! Just as before, when I had to see myself as a medium.
So now I am proud to say that I am an author... and it feels great!
So with this book I've tried to keep it simple, and lighthearted. But how can you do that when you are talking about, what happens when we die... well quite simple... its love.
Love is around us everywhere, the book is written with love, its about love and life, and what is apparent in the book is that even in the afterlife, its all about love.
So love who you are, be proud of who you are and start to believe in yourself and know that you can do anything that you put your mind too!

It's funny, I approached someone about a book I have written, nothing as special as you. I write poems and am taking care of the first mini dalmatian in australia and will eventually be taking care of the first capybara in australia and I thought taking professional pictures and introducing it through poetry would be fun.. No one can seem to see my vision lol, but I still believe it's valid, even if I can't share my story and new animal experiences. I do love it. So I think reading your post makes me realise (as too do not feel like an author lol) .. that your never truly rejected because love is the ruling force. I don't honestly think god would allow you to be a success if he didn't trust you with it. That is why I look at you lisa and feel like I love you .. you just resemble goodness to others. Love in many forms. I hope one day that I can be an advocate of good too. Bless you in your endeavors always. I do love you.

If this book is like your first book, I'm sure I'm going to love it. I received my book in the mail nearly a week ago. I have but it away to take on our boat cruise in july and will be enjoying the sun reading my book.

It was like being held and comforted the entire time i read it for those i have lost and for what is ahead for us all on this journey.. Hi Lisa, I bought your book a week before your show in Canberra, Australia. I had read it and said WOW. I had you autograph it before the show and was very excited to tell you I had read it. When you asked what I thought I said you had reaffirmed everything I thought about the afterlife and couldn't wait to go but not for many years yet. It is a great book, everyone should read it as they will no longer be afraid of death. It shows that death is not an ending but a beginning. I can't wait for your next book whenever it will be. You are an angel and we all love you.
during our reading in townsville,you were going to stop as to soon for our holly just left us.you said to read this book,on to my third time reding it.got more copies for my family members to read.it gave a little comfort compared to what we feelin at moment.but to many things you spoke about are right here in our face,its hard to explain it...as you your self try to explain to other of things.we came from the alice in nt were you found you guide one of your guides.is it still possilble you u or your staff to send or down load the townsville audio/,again thanks for sharing your knowledge with this book.....i would never trust any-one but your self to pass on info like this.
