We are in and its starting to look like an office!
Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 09:56PM Yes we have moved the office... back to the house and over my mad weeks of clearing out and organizing, one of the things that I did was to clear the garage of everything... and I mean EVERYTHING... Bob the builder came out in me, have I ever expressed how happy I am with a drill in my hand? Probably not, but I am... and I now have bikes suspended from the ceiling, and storage units galore and so what was a dumping ground now houses 4 people and the merchandise and 3 crazy looney dogs who follow us around everywhere!
It's like we are back where we belong. Ahhhh... bliss! We even had a meeting yesterday while I was cooking for my dinner guests that night! haha
But it's been a challenge and I have been up until the early hours most nights sorting organizing and making sure the girls had everything. With the help of a friend who installed the AC and laid the floor we are in and sort of straight, although there are many things in boxes but over the coming weeks we will get straight!
Which means that I can now go to work in my PJ's again... not that I didn't go to work in my PJ's before, because I did... but I can wander down and sit at my computer and work, but then there is the otherside, where I don't have to leave my computer to go home, I am home and there is always the risk of sitting at it until midnight, which I have done.... eeeek... I know I know I shouldn't!!! haha
So that's whats been happening in the world of LW, and now I am in Lily Dale... after a slightly crazy and annoying day, I am in the tranquility of like minded people and spirituality... breathe and relax!!! ahhhhhh
Yes it's been one of those days that started early and it continued in the same vain. Even when the clock turned midnight it didn't stop, but then again it's not midnight on the west coast so maybe I have to wait for then... haha who knows, but what could have gone wrong did.... and all I did was sit on a plane for almost 8 hours, but thankfully everything, well almost everything to do with my journey was perfect!
But don't you get days like that where, you have to laugh because if you don't you will cry.... haha and seriously I am laughing about it, there is nothing else you can do and I have send many emails to caroline and jonesy today and called them and we all just end up laughing because it's the only way!
When things are out of your control there is little you can do, there is no point in worrying because what can you do... nothing. You can't force issues, you have to allow the universe to happen and unfold in the way it's supposed to, and it's all happening for a reason. what the reason is, I do not know (however I would very much like to) but we never know it at the time. But I know that when things finally fall into place then it's meant to be.
And that is what we have to accept, and I had to today after my 9th cock up of the day, I gave in and said... what is meant to be is going to be. So I sit here in the tranquility of Lily Dale knowing that I am in the right time and the right space for me right now, and there is nothing more I need or want. I can't do anything about today, because it's all out of my hands, I have laughed about it all day. I am in the right place now, learning the lesson I need... without a drink in sight!!! haha
So when we have days like that, just know that sometimes these days are sent to try us, and that we have to have them, to come through them and know that actually it was there for a reason!
Much love
Lisa xxx

Getting packed and heading out to Lily Dale in a few hours. Looking forward so much to your message service this evening! This will be my 3rd trip to Lily Dale this summer. I LOVE it there!
Bonjour Lisa,
You're right! When you can sprinkle humor in your busy life, it does get easier.
So glad you're happy with the changes at home/work. Changes are never easy.
But don't let work absord all your energy. As you said it so well not long ago, we all need ME times. Please, take good care of yourself and try to have FUN every day.
Amazing what you have been through this past year and how happy you can be making your own decisions. Also, amazing to know you can have FUN with tools and finding your own kitchen drawers. Ha! Ha! So many new skills in so littlle time! Some of us will have some catching up to do...
HUGS to a very special lady!
I had one of those days yesterday!!! Started at the office, then the nearly 2hr drive out to Beaumont to be treated like crap (another day's work in the field of mental health... although from what I saw, the Child Help facility was one of the nicest I've seen and the employees were friendly), and then more work issues, and other issues which continued into the night... Coincidentally, I also had to just say "Just breathe..." yesterday as well... Exhausted.
Not sure I'm at the point of laughing about it all yet... but luckily (or unluckily) I won't cry easily either...
I'm glad you are getting things set up and settled, and that you had your support team behind you all the way through the rough day! So important...
I hope you just enjoy your weekend where you are at now and Good Luck with the event!!
Big Hugs and Love,
Vy xxxx

Yes! That is what I tell my husband all the time - Don't worry things will happen as they are meant to. Now HE says it back to me!
I am looking forward to your workshop tomorrow! I am sooo excited to learn from you. Other than trying to listen to my intuition, I have no experience - so the practice session idea makes me nervous- but things will happen as they should. :)
Hello My Friend:
I'm glad you're finally in Lilly Dale and enjoying yourself. I have tickets to your events tonight and tomorrow but sadly I can't make it. I was on my way to Lily Dale this morning, had to force myself out the door, feeling as though I wasn't meant to go. After hitting "Road Closed" in Sussex County, and taking a necessary detour that lead me onto isolated country roads, my GPS got me hopelessly lost. Considering it was a 7 hour drive and with the clock ticking, with a sigh, I turned around and headed home.
Was looking forward to the events but I will catch up at another time. Sending you love and angels for safe travels.
Love,
Lori

Hey there Lisa, its been awhile since I've posted, so sorry my bad...While playing catch up I see you've been busy but having a good time & taking time for yourself good for you :) If I lived in Ca. I would have been glad to help you move your office, heck I would of flown out there to help you..I'm always a day late & a dollar short :) So your cooking ?? Way to go Lisa, did the cookbook help ?? :) I saw the pea story on the news last night, too funny. Well just the story not that the man had to go through what he did..Your so close to us being in Lily Dale, wish I could be there too, miss you sooo much, but I'm working on November just not sure where we will see you yet..Laughter is great medicine, I'm glad it got you through your crazy day of travels..My dad always use to say "smile it makes them wonder what your up to" or "turn that frown up side down"..I hope you have the greatest weekend possible, your always in my thoughts & my heart, I love you bunches, can't wait to see you again...Extra big, kiss on the cheek hugs...themauder
Would have loved to join you in Lily Dale. Can't wait to hear about it from our members.
Have a great time.
You said you were cooking Dinner, did I read that right. Just joking with you. I don't like peas either.
It does make sense for you to work from home rather than pay all that rent. Sometimes having a good sort out is wonderful, you get rid of so much stuff you never use. Good for you doing all that, I bet it made you feel good.
Hi Lisa,
Even through all the chaos of moving, I can feel that you are so happy to be back working from home. I am so happy for you. There are so many plusses to working from home, far outweighing any cons, not least of all how much our pets love us being around. Colin and I go out for an hour and they carry on like we have been away on a two week holiday, our huskies howling like crazy and spinning around in excitement. That's because they are so used to us being around all the time. I know that it is also going to be awesome for Charlie. So blessings with your new working-from-home venture.
I can't wait to hear about Lily Dale from you and the members. I hope you are all having a wonderful time.
Hugs,
Jeanette

Dear Lisa: I would like to thank you for the excellent reading you gave my husband and I in Lilydale NY on Friday, Aug. 13,2010. You were truly amazing!!!!! Everything you said was right on. We went there hooping but in no way expescting a reading but our son came through for us. It is the first time in months I have slept an uninterupted sleep. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Lisa, I want to thank you for the most wonderful evening of my life. Here is why;
I believe you had the wrong lady Friday night (Aug 13th) in Lily Dale for your first reading from "Ted". The lady's husband was Ted. I couldn’t say a word as I started to cry soon as you said his name! Ted was my 64 yr old brother, from Red Deer Alta. He passed in Oct of 2007. As I live in WNY circumstances & finances would not allow me to attend his services . You said Ted was there with his Mom. Our mom passed in June of 2006 of Alzheimers. You asked the woman in the audience if she was eating more dairy than usual, I have never really liked it but I’ve become 'hooked' on ice cream in the last 2 months! But still I couldn’t say a word! Then you asked about butter milk? Ted & my Dad loved buttermilk! Then you said Ted’s mom seems to be stirring something, then you said "Pancakes" Ted’s loved pancakes! Ok so by now I’m welded to my chair sobbing, still unable to speak!!
Then you asked the woman did husband have heart problems .....well Ted had heart surgery in 2005 to put in a new pigs heart valve!! So then you asked the woman about the mom’s ring, I had mom & dad’s wedding rings on a chain round my neck, holding them for dear life!!! Then you asked the woman who's birthdayit was! That was it, I was done for! Today Aug 14th, is my 55th birthday! I am blown away! Thank you, you are AMAZING & so blessed!!

I love reading the posts about your readings.... Warms the heart!
Much Love,
Andrea

Happy .. everyone wants to be ...got to be ... Happy.. when I looked at my soul that is what i saw .. Ru Paul singing Happy.. a bright red heart beaming out a beautiful rainbow..
