Time to clear out!

It's time to plan... you know me, ever changing things and making things the way I want them, and that is exactly what I am doing at the moment. Organising everything which means when I do that I feel organised. I know I look calm but there is often a mad woman running around underneath the surface, but isn't that true of many people.

Thank heavens I have a great support team... gotta love them!

I am also organising to head to Salt Lake City at the weekend also which is going to be fun! I can't wait to see some dear friends and also Niki who is also part of my support team.

When you start to clear things out it makes you clear your head and also your mind, you can re-organise, you don't have clutter, and when you don't have clutter you can actually see the pathway clearer. I know that this is true for me. So very true and it's needed. Which is why I love my boxes and labels!!!

I have found that if I have things organised in my home, I can keep everything organised in my head, and it's fantastic. Have you ever tried it?

We all can hoard, and lords knows I can hoard but I love a good clear out every now and then, and it's great. It keeps things fresh and new. It also helps to open an expand your mind. Keep corners free, if you can as negative energy can store up in there, clear out pockets in bags, clear things out so that when you come to use them again you have what you need and you can find it.

Same with the computer, you can organise your desk top, you don't have to have all your documents scattered, keep things organised and then you can keep your mind clear too.

So take a look around you and see what you have and also what you don't need, and if you don't need it, it's time to throw it away! Be ruthless and strong... I mean come on, are you really doing to wear those 80's clothes ever again!!!???

Big hugs and lots of love

Lisa xx

I should change my nic to Clutter, lol I am the most DISorganized person u would ever want to meet! Cluter everywhere! I always say I am going to de-clutter and get organinzed but then I can't find the piece of paper I wrote that to myself on...amidst all the clutter, lol lol lol

Maybe "someday" I will actually achieve this but prob not, lol

My pc is always a major mess, nothing is organinzed and then I wonder why I get so frustrated when I can't find things!

Lisa, I totally need you HERE, helppppppppppppp, lol

Warm Hugs

Thank you Lisa for another great blog.
I so need to organize my computer as when I'm looking for something I can't seem to find it. I also need to declutter other things as will but that will be when I'm in the mood to do it.

Hugs

how funny you mention this...lol...as of today i purchased some new shelves/bookcases, because i felt, if i just had things more organised, i wouldn't feel so tied down to my stuff..I realises, that when i have a mess at home, it bothers me until it's organised..It's like having some business hanging over you head that needs fixing...And it's not even important business, it's like having that itch you just can't scratch..annoying...It's the little things huh? OH MY GOD....U must be Reading My Mind !...hahahahaahahah...Just yesterday morning I had a thought ......HMMMMM.....Now if I UNCLUTTER my closet....and give away my clothes which by the way....I've had for soooooo many years....and hold on to....to....what if !?!....what if I need it one day !?!....and to my surprise....that one day comes....and.....I never use it !!!...hahahaahahah....so what's the use of keeping it....Might as well do some good in this world.....and help the needy !...Right !?!....and so....I got up....and started piling up clothes on the bed....believe it or not....but once you put your mind to do something.....it comes out like a Big Bang.....resulting in 6 huge garbage bags.....that someone else will ever be ever so grateful to have....And....Soooooo...now....My closet is unclutter....I have lots of space.....Finally....:)....and I did some good in the process.....making someone else feel special....as they deserve it too !!!......Funny how life puts people in your path of life....and say or do just what you need at the moment you need it....the most !!!!!

May Your Day Be Precious Lisa !

Hey there Lisa,

Wow, another great blog that has great timing! Been in this phase of getting rid of many things from my past on all levels...reorganizing my life. I used to hang onto so many things because in a way I guess like many of us, I am a sentimental fool. There are things I am still trying to let go of... but I am finding it so very hard to give up my teddy bear that I admit I am emotionally attached to. A grown woman attached to a teddy... LOL. I always had a teddy since I was little, but this attachment resurfaced when I lost my Dad and it has a strong hold on me. As cruel as it sounds, I know that I will need to throw away teddy and cry like a baby in order to move forward. No one is forcing me at gun point, but I know that this attachment is not serving my soul in a good way. So as you said, it is so important to clear the clutter around us as it does usually lead to something we are holding onto inside of ourselves. If we clear the path, it allows more light to come into our lives. Oh, it sounds so easy, but I am freaking out. :)

Love and hugs to you,

DS

Excellent Blog, Lisa!

You're right about the clutter. If It clutters your space then it clutters your mind too. So, let's make some room to better see the light coming in.

I usually give one or two bags of clothes and stuff every year to a non-profit second hand store. Last year, they made $ 100,000 to give away to cancer research. Super! We should all have a store like this that can help those in needs in two different ways.

I try to go by the rule: "Every time I buy a new piece of clothing, I have to pick an old one to give away." And there is always an empty box in my closet for those old clothes. And please don't look back. Put a lid on it if you have to. :)

So, let's finish our "spring" cleaning as soon as we can. Lisa knows best.

Ooops! I just forgot. I still have a bit to do in the kitchen. But it's so hot... next cool day. Right?

Lots of good vibes to all declutterers!

Oh, that is so on target for me, Lisa!
I am always saying I am one box away from being a hoarder!
I use that a lot when people want me to buy something.
I tell them no thank you, because one more box of stuff and it will be official:
I will be a full fledged hoarder!

Have a great time in Salt Lake City.
Wish I could be there!

. . . . . . . Aah but i'm sure i've seen some of the clothes i wore in the 80's in the shops lately, is that not reason enough to keep them - apart from the fact i am now 20 years older and they wouldn't look the same anymore!! Ha ha ;-)

Great blog though - makes a lot of sense.

Love to you x x

Well, as far as me and mine are concerned, we are going to be moving home within the next few months, so I will be de-cluttering while packing. That seems to happen quite regularly in my life. I am getting quite tired of packing up home and then unpacking again. The benefit is, though, that I don't get the chance to build up too much clutter, which is probably just as well because clutter drives me nuts! I am one of those people that gets bugged if things start getting disorganised around me.

DS... DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR TEDDY BEAR. I read in one of Louise Hay's books that we should all own a teddy bear, so I figure it is a healthy habit, not a bad one, although our bed partners might think we are going through a second childhood, I suppose.

Noraa, good to see you posting again. I was just reading through your numerology notes yesterday, that you send me, and checked if I could find the book you recommended at our local bookstore, which I couldn't, but I will get around to buying it. As a matter of interest, if someone's birthdate is the 19th, do you add that as a 1 + 9 = 10 or equals 1 + 0 = 1? Just in case you re-read this post and see my question.... thanks.

Hugs,
Jeanette

Lisa this is amazing since I too have been clearing out clutter -- going to buy some sage and purge my area as well and while I'm at it I want a complete makeover and I could lose a few pounds as well. I feel like my life is a new beginning. I've dug out my tarot cards that I haven't used in years and I brought out my crystals that had been lost in all my clutter. I have dug out my numerology books and astrology books and my books on crystal healing. All of my wiccan books that I had tucked away for that raining day -- I've just been so busy that I have forgotten to take time out for me. When I found you by accident (synchronistiy) nothing happens by accident -- I thought I would listen to you since I had never heard of you before -- and I felt an instant connection -- a profound one it was like I could see you and you could see my soul -- it's funny that you had just written a blog about the soul connection -- all the while I'm going through my transformation you're writing about how you too are going through a new beginnings if you will -- I as a child would have dreams and they would come true. There were many times that I would get this feeling that I had seen this before -- and I could recite what the person was going to say or a gift that my cousin was going to open. I remember telling my mom what was in a red box that my cousin opened and I war right -- for years I have studied meditation and love singing bowls and sounds -- they are very soothing to the soul. I had a bad experience once with hands on healing -- there were a group of us who put our hands on someone and used our healing abilities to help this person heal -- it left me completely drained and I don't know if I ever completely recovered from this psyche. I know now not to do something unless I know what I'm doing that is why I'm planning to take classes with a reiki master to learn hands on healing technique. I just wanted to share this with you -- you're so right about letting go and the hard part for me was understanding what "letting go" is all about -- the concept for me was so hard to grasp -- but once I understood it's like an awe had come over me. Another thing that is good is being open and receptive of gifts -- and accepting them unconditionally -- graciously. This was such a hard thing for me because I was always the one giving -- it was easier for me to give but hard for me to receive -- now I do both. Forgiveness is another --

Hi Lisa. Great advices. I am doing it right now actually. Feels so good.

I have been watching many of your programs on tv and it´s great what you´re doing. And I admire your courage with the other side. I am not that brave.
Actually i would like to ask you for help. I think I can feel the other side too. Sometimes i´ve been "talking" to my grandmother and so but it was a few years ago now since last time and i´m happy with that.
This summer though the feeling of someone from the other side is connecting me is so strong. I don´t know who, but it might be a relative. Anyway, I´m not ok with it. It´s makes me worried and I am so lonely with this feelings cause nobody else knows how i feel.

So, what can i do to turn off my "sixth sense"?

I know that you cannot answer every little question but i would be so glad if you could give me an answer or at least suggest someone who might help me. I cannot sleep well anymore, and as you might know - if you tell someone "normal" about it for exemple in a hospital they only wanna give you drugs or start a treatment for "hearing voices."

Best wishes, Mikaela from Sweden
