Go beyond the reading into the healing!
Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:59PM Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes and I can't tell you how nice it was to go away and relax... I slept and I slept hard. I needed it. I have this thing where I work and work and work, and you know what they say, all work and no play, makes Lisa a very dull girlie... hahah I doubt that but sometimes we need to rest and take it easy.
Well We are gearing up for the TV show which is good and I am very excited, and what I love about doing my show is the fact that it helps people. Not only does it help the one person that I am reading for, it also helps everyone that it impacts, which is the family, the friends and also the viewers. So many people can heal from one reading. Just to know that there is an afterlife and knowing that we will meet up with our loved ones is incredible.
But having the communication is one thing, and it's great but then we have to move on. We know our loved ones are safe. Sometimes having a reading is a hard thing as it brings them forward and then so many people grieve after again for a while. It's hard as they feel like they have lost them again.
So this is where the healing happens. It's knowing how to move on and take baby steps in the healing process that is important. Taking time for you and knowing what you need to make you feel better in the long run. People all need different things in life and not everyone moves on in the same way and this is where we all need a little nurturing.
Taking time. YOU are the most important person in your life, no one can help you but you, because you have to WANT to be helped and you have to WANT to move forward. We can all say that we want to move on and we want help, but it's really feeling it. It is feeling it within our soul and knowing that we can do this.
Sometimes it's hard and yes, it's not always easy, and we may fall down, but we have to get back up and with strength and determination you can. We all need support and the support is there to take the baby steps with you, whether it's a friend who is online, or someone who is close to you, there is someone who cares for you. You may find hope and comfort in faith, but what ever it is you have to know that you are not alone, because ultimately, your loved one will be showing you and helping you to heal in their physical absence.
Finding a way to honor the memory, and the soul is a great thing and doing something that you can hold on to is good, because it gives us something physical and it's the physical that we miss.
Nothing will ever replace it, but knowing that we can honor them and move forward with them in our hearts in what can help us.
So this is why I am excited about my show, because it goes beyond the reading into the healing and I know that it's going to help so many people which is something I love! Baby steps is all it takes with love and support along the way!
Have a great weekend!
Love
Lisa xx

Lisa, this blog post is so passionate and your advice is spot on! I am looking forward to the new episodes of your show. I always feel so lifted after witnessing the exchange between you, the client, and their loved one in spirit. Happy to hear you are well rested! I often think you are the energizer bunny! : )

Hi Lisa,
You are absolutely right Lisa... we have to WANT to go forward otherwise no matter what anyone says, or how many signs we see, it won't make a difference. For those who are struggling to go forward, I pray that they find the strength and realise the positivity and the benefit for everyone concerned, including the person who has passed, for them to do so.
Lisa, I so hope and pray that we get coverage of your new show in South Africa. Seeing you on TV is what drew my attention to you in the first placed, and is also what helped me to overcome my fear of dying and started me on this wonderful journey of discovery. I noticed your Life Among The Dead show is back on our screens on Sunday evenings. This is about the 4th time they have repeated it and each time I tell more friends about it. I have some very dear friends who lost their eldest daughter very tragically. I have already reminded them to record Sunday's show because they missed it last time. I think it will make a huge difference to them, especially to her baby sister. She has struggled with Tamsyn's death as Tam was a second mommy to her and Roxy is now having serious health issues, so I hope your show brings some comfort to her.
I will hold thumbs that we see your new show. I also am dying to see the new you live in action.
Hugs,
Jeanette (Netty)
I'm so glad you got to sleep if you needed it, you don't always have that time do you, hope you feel great. Oooooo a new show!. That is good news :). Its such a powerful message this one, being that people are different. You do create an enviroment where you disclose what some people are not aware of & one thing that gets me is your compassion, your eyes do something very special.. they show love and when you hug I honestly think peoples loved ones are using you. It would be hard for some, especially for those who are sceptics to come to a revelation that they are still there and I understand feel a bit sad too.. they would experience a different way to heal from it. I think what you do is immeasurable and a source from love. We do try to jump ahead of ourselves sometimes but I do think being true to where we are is so so healing. We are all so uniquely made. Bless xx
Hi Lisa,
You are so right,
I bought your book and it answered so many questions I had and the butterflies every where I go now I see butterflies in one form or the other. The black stage you went through helped me realise that I am not the only one and at last I see the light at the end of the tunnel and can't wait to get there.
I am glad to hear you had a good rest and a happy birthday I hope it won't be to long before you come to Australia again I missed you last time.
Your talks in between shows are fantastic to hear what it is like to do this type of work even if you are under the weather, not the bit about cutting our lives shorter LOL but to hear someone out there up front and honest is fantasic I wish you a very happy trip just remember to stop and smell the roses now and then
Thank you
Take care and God bless
Hello Lisa, oh yes what you do is so important and almost magical. It's even more than that. It is so powerful and you do it so much sobriety.
Thank you for all the strength and passion you put to help all of us.
I'm really looking forward to your new book ;-))
Lots of love,
Lise
Happy belated b.day and yes everyone deserves a get away every now & again. Just some time to be alone, rest and think about things. When will your tv show air? Looking forward to it and best wishes with all your projects!
Bonjour Lisa ;0),
Everyone's got a person who passed away in their family and not everyone got the same path for grieving. Although i have some questions about persons in my family who passed away in a dramatic way ... i just feel comfortable in the steps of my grieving..so in a way i'm lucky to well absorb it.
Again, i did'nt got into this site to search for a reading... i got there because you're a shining light Person first of all...(not a Star-system to me).
Continue to shine so others can see it also... like it caught my eye one day on LifeTime..
;0)
Excellent post and I'm so eager to view the show! Have fun filming it.
It's so interesting - I think there must be a mappable progression to a post reading that is individual for everyone, yet follows a set phase course. (Gawd, could that sound more geeky, please?)
I think that after a person receives a reading of the order of magnitude you give, Lisa, there is a period of stunned silence. And in this period of stunned silence the information is being bounced around and processed. And then the person has some decisions to make,eh? As you write, one has to WANT to heal. So after the bedazzlement of the reading starts to fade, the work begins. What do I do to heal? How does this information help me heal? What do I DO?
Oh this healing of people is going to be great. You and I each do it in our own way, yet I know we both jump up and down and yell Hurrah! when we see it happening for people.
Go film! This show is going to change everything.... woo hoo!!! Love you lots, Girl.
Bonjour Lisa,
So happy to read that you have recharged your batteries while celebrating your special day! That's the best way to start your new year. I also love being surrounded by family members and having a great time away from home for that special occasion. Laughters are a must. And leave all negativity at the door, please!
Your are like the "Mother Lisa" of our spiritual development . LOVE all that you do to reach as many people as you can but please don't neglect your health for all of us. Remeber you are the PRIORITY. Like Mother Theresa, one step at a time and you'll get there with your mission. And we'll all be there to cheer you wherever you will be. Hope your new TV show comes to Canada!
Lots of love and a big hug to you and your gang !:)

Hi Lisa,
Your post today spoke to my soul, not just my head, but deep within, and now I know it's OK to clear out my Mom stuff with love. She has been gone for 8 years and I lived in her house to take care of her while she waited for her time to pass.
I have held on to so many thing of hers, maybe out of respect, who knows. Today your blog gave me the the desire to want to move on and Not hold on. I know she is around me and sends me signs. She is fine, and know she wants me to fully heal and be happy.
Thank you so much for your message today and for all you bring to us on this site,
I can actually feel my soul is lighter and happy knowing what I must do, with love, for my healing.
Excitied to hear about your new show, please keep us informed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweetie!!!!!
Being raised Baptist,i have always believed in God and heaven. I never wanted to believe in a vengeful God, and i could never understand how God could pick one religion to be the only correct one. Can't wait to read your new book coming out describing the other side. I feel so comforted and have absolutely no fear of death. I talk to my mom and dad as if they are still here and have received many signs. I will continue to try to expand my horizons to thin the veil Will you post when your new show is coming on? Love you Lisa! Chick
Happy birthday Lisa!
Hugs from Norway. <3

Hi Lisa,
I have just logged on to your blog and think you do an amazing job helping people, I lost my son late last year and have been having an extremely difficult time . You have mentioned as others do that we have a life plan or contract before we are born , does this mean that I caused this to occur in my life as a lesson, I am finding this hard to deal with, could you please eplain more about the life plan .
Many Thanks
Carmel
Dear Lisa,
When I first saw you on TV it was the love you have in your heart that you give to otheres, to want to help them, that makes you such a good healer.
Witnessing your gifts and all that has come into my life has started a shift with my own depression.
Yes, I still struggle, and I get so frustrated with the times I continue to fall, but I realize I have to be patient, and know that it all can't come at once. Sometimes the layers seem like you see-saw back in forth, but your work and message of hope and healing has had a positive influence in my life.
I send all my love back to you, for all your inspiration.
Terry
