Looking through the eyes of a child.

Life is getting back to normal finally but what is normal, especially in my world and I have felt a little 'out of it' for a while, a little disconnected and it's time to get back to the real world and focus... YAY!!!!

But sometimes it's always good to get away a little, regroup and then come back with refreshed Ideas. I find it helps me get to grips with so many  things and I do tend to hibernate away when stuff is happening, but I suppose many people do. I'm not one for sharing and those I do share with are those I trust!

Anyway, what I have learnt over the last few weeks is that love can heal so much and in life we all have pain. Physical and emotional, sometimes our core essence hurts and with a little TLC and love it can heal so much. A little attention also can help. You know I look at Charlie and it's with kids that we can see where it comes from, we can see that core value but why don't we do something about it.

For instance, you show a child, love, and attention, and understanding and you give them the time that they need to grow. You nurture them and they love you unconditionally. When you don't spend the time with them they become withdrawn, hurt, quiet and many other things. So just showing them love can help them with so much.

So lets apply that to our lives. If we show ourselves a little bit of love and happiness, and understanding then we can heal. I am not talking on a conscious level, such as in our mind, I am talking on a soul level. Love ourselves and the inner child that is within us, we can discover who we are and what we want, and also what makes us happy.

It's amazing when that happens and I love to see it when it happens.

So look at yourself through the eyes of a child, what would they see? They would not see the big spot that has just appeared on your face, they will see kind eyes and a smile. They will not see the big body, they will see someone who is warm and cuddly and someone who loves them. They will not see that you are struggling inside with issues that are bothering you, they will see someone who just needs to smile and they will want to do that for you.

It's amazing what kids see so today see yourself through the eyes of a child and start to love yourself, as it can heal so much.

Lets all go back to the innocence that we once had and love who we are, because trust me we are all worth loving!!!

Lots of love to you all

xxxx

PS. I'm excited to head to the ICDI at San Diego with Hayhouse.. whoohoo!!!

I am glad u took time to "hibernate"" and "regroup" as you have been dealing with alot of different emotions lately...it is a wise thing to take a step back and regroup your mind and thoughts. It's healthy!

We put so much pressure on ourselves these days that forget to actually laugh at ourselves. You always freak me out Lisa when you write these blogs.lol Only toay l said to my girlfriend that if only people would see the world through the eyes of a child how much nicer the world would be. My kids always tell me l am cuddly or as Grandma says big boned. When l joined my local gym the trainer asked me if l was German or Austrian background because apparently l am built like one.hahah My family are Irish and Scottish and apparently we like to drink but not pay. l am getting way off track . Great to hear the joy in your words again. Keep changing the world, love Raccaxoxox

Seeing through childs Eye’s …makes me think that it makes us able to see the whole Forest instead of just seeing the tree that hides it..

Lisa:

I couldn't agree with you more! I don't have any children, but I have many nieces and nephews and I have spent alot of time with them. My youngest nephews are twins that are seven and one that is five. I just love spending time with them because they say the most innocent things, and they are completely honest. I love the way they look at life because they are so young. You are right about seeing things through childrens eyes.....we would all be better off. Hang in there and I'm glad you took a break to regroup.

HI MY LOVE,
HOW TRUE. IF WE CAN ONLY SEE THROUGH THE YES OF A CHILD LIFE WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER FOR US ALL.

I AM GLAD MY DEAR THAT YOU WERE ABLE TO TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF AND REGROUP. AFTER ALL THAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH YOU NEEDED IT.

THANKS FOR BEING YOU AND I WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW NIGHT IN SAN DIEGO.

LOVE YOU LOTS,
MARY

Yes Lisa it is through the eyes of a child that we see "pure" love & understanding! We tend to lose our "pureness" as we get older. Great advice for us all to look at.

So very well put Lisa.
heres some more words from another great persona....
With A Child's Heart
Go face the worries of the day
With a child's heart
Turn each problem into play
No need to worry no need to fear
Just being alive makes it all so very clear
With a child's heart
Nothing can ever get you down
With a child's heart
You've got no reason to frown
Love is as welcome
As a sunny sunny day
No grown-up thoughts
To lead our hearts astray
Take life easy, so easy nice and easy
Like a child so gay and so carefree
The whole world smiles with you
As you go your merry way
Oh with a child's heart
Nothing's gonna get me down

Dear Lisa,

It is so important to take time for one's self and recharge our internal batteries.
Your post reminds me of John and my song, "Through The Eyes of Love". It is a beautiful song with such beautiful lyrics. Looking through a child's eyes is such a beautiful concept! The innocense the unconditonal love that a child bears...it's all good and it's a place where we can easily relate to.
It is true if you are happy inside, it shows itself through your eyes and then your entire body radiates the love you have inside not only for yourself but others. It is important to love yourself and then put that out there for everyone to see with their own eyes. It can be contagious.
Lovely post!

Much love to you and Charlie as always!!

Beautiful post! I am so happy that you took the time; it will inspire others to do so as well. And there is not much encouragement out there to take care of our inner selves! Instead we get a barrage of messages that tell us we are wrong and need to be (a) slimmer, (b) younger, (c) more vital, (d)richer - or appear to be richer, (e) popular... oh the list goes on.

We are beautiful as we are. And by recognizing and embracing that we can truly gift the world with our talents and abilities.

I have long felt "the Devil" does not kill. "The Devil" ( or however you conceive of that negative dark force) seeks to neutralize by making people frozen and ineffective; caught up in their own fears and insecurities.

Great post, kudos! Through the eyes of children, what a wonderment! We should all be children now and then to get back to reality.

The way my grandchildren love me is, for me, the best kind of love I could possibly wish for. I have received so much from them and they are such a blessing in my life that it is quite indescribable. My life is so much richer for having them in it. The unconditional love I feel for them is overwhelming at times. I can shower them with love and hugs and cuddles without any strings attached. That is what I love best of all. I also feel so blessed to have the opportunity to make up for the things that I did wrong as a parent, to have the chance to give my grandchildren the best of myself, after having learnt in life that what you give to a child while they are growing up is one of the most important things you will do in your entire life, because nothing will stand them in better stead for the future. I feel so honoured to have the opportunity to leave such a legacy behind.

May we all realise the importance of the what we give to our children, including our inner child.

Hugs,
Jeanette

Hey Lisa,

Fantastic post... children can teach us with their pure intentions...so true!!! Somehow as we become adults our lives get complicated in such a way that we forget all that we naturally came here with as souls. So it is so important to have that quiet time to reflect, deal, and then hopefully move forward with a new perspective like that of a child.

By the way, your energy was fabulously contagious today on your radio show and I can see you are back. So it left me with a big smile knowing you are okay. Grrr... to Mercury Retrograde... :)

Lots of Hugs,
DS

Wow, I never thought of it that way before. I can see it now, so clearly. And it never even occurred to me before.

Thank you so much for your words, for being you, for being there for us all of the time. You make such a difference to my life, and so many others, thank you seems so inadequate.

Big Hugs ((( ))) Sue x
