Believe in the signs that come your way!
Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 09:32PM Well it's done... the book is handed in and we are waiting for Hayhouse to do their editing and send it back and then it's back to work we go on it, but it was really weird for this to be complete, something that has seen me through the troubled waters and fun times has now finished.
It's funny as for a while I used it as a crutch, a focus for when I needed something to believe in or lean on. When things weren't going in the way that I wanted or when I needed to escape into something. But it was released yesterday with a sign from Merv.
I was walking Max and Lucy in the morning and Max decided to stop to 'do his business' and there in front of me was a hummingbird, fluttering it's beautiful wings, and staring at me. I wasn't planning on sending the manuscript out that day but It was the sign I needed... and then suddenly... I finished everything and off it went.
More signs to show that I was on the right track when I kept seeing 11.11 both yesterday and today and then a deer, and more signs... it's just incredible. For me it's like I am getting signs that the universe is opening up and allowing me to make my way forward.
I love change and when I find that a door closes there is always a new one that opens. But for me its about intention and wanting to move forward in life. My friend said to me last night, you say something and then it happens. And it's true. It's not because I'm psychic, it's because I put it out into the universe with a good intention and then because the intention is there to help others, or its for my own higher self purpose it happens... and that is what I find, and then these little things that happen to make me realize that I am on the right track and that doors are opening.
Sometimes we force things to happen but that is when they don't work because it's not supposed to happen, yes it will give us some satisfaction but when it flows it's so much better because it's something that is supposed to happen and it's in our destiny. When we force things to happen it's our ego taking over.
So know that there are signs that will be shown to you that you are on the right track and believe in the things that come your way!
Much love
Lisa xx

XOXOOXOX This is great:)
That's great Lisa! So happy for you. I've been receiving a few signs lately, as well as a friend (member here too).
Xxx thanks for another great blog.
Will be great when you see the final outcome.. you are a hard worker.. .. I don't know maybe it was meant to be like a crutch during that time. As you say there are no coincidences. I love how you express change as the universe is opening up.. I think thats a beautiful way to describe it. Wow the bottom bit speaks to me.. I do that lol. At times force things til they fit.. in fact I have
a real problem with it, although it is on the mend. Signs are what brought me to the gold coast to meet my husband so i'm thankful for signs confirming i'm on the right track. Bless you in all that you have accomplished sweety.
Thank you Lisa I needed this tonight and it is so true that when we force things to happen and it is not for our highest good it does not work out. I think that sometimes we can get so caught up in the moment that we want it all now.. I mean right now and that it is not in our best interest. So I will wait patiently for my signs and leave it up to God to decide for the highest good.... and so it is.
Congratulations Lisa on getting the book off to Hay House and I can't wait to read it as it sounds amazing. Sending you much love and light
Hazel
Dear Lisa, I just wanted to share with you that there were elegant sentences in your first book. I liked these sentences because they had the touch of a professional writer. These are some of them,
"I raced upstairs, my heart still beating crazily- ka-thump, ka-thump, ka-thump-..."
"Someone has a problem. Make a nice cup of tea. Someone dies. Make a nice cup of tea. Personally, I could have done with a cup of hot chocolate. Chocolate makes everything right for me".
"It's our first Christmas.....and we're over the moon about it ......not!"
The above sentences are very elegant and artistic. I enjoyed these in your first book. Lisa. Well Done!!
Bravo, Lisa, Bravo!!!!!
Good Ol" Merv wants us to see your fantastic book ASAP too..'Quick, get it done, people need to read this master piece." XXX Love Stace
Merv has always been good about giving you signs. I am very happy for you Lisa and looking forward to reading the book.
Lisa,
Congratulations on finishing your book - you must be so proud after all your hard work to see it near the end of it's journey and going to print. I know I can't wait to read it!

Allo Lisa,
Can i see, as a sign, a Hummmmmmmingbird for a GOLD medal in men's Hockey tournament??!
LOL! ;0)
Brava, Sweetie! Your work is coming to beautiful fruition.... and lots more 'fruit' to come, ha ha ha ha. Most eager to read this one.
I had a humming bird come to my ficus tree that same day and just sing his little song very forcefully and for quite a while. The cats were thrilled, and we were blessed by his music.
N says Cooey! ( I keep saying I can't write that and I keep getting nudged - so there we are. )
Have a beautiful day.
Dear Lisa,
It is amazing how you see signs to guide you and let you know you are on the right track. What a wonderful blessing. Merv is obviously a very important guide in your life and I am really happy for you that you have someone like him as your mentor.
I can understand what that is like because I also have someone who is so very special to me. She was my friend and mentor for twenty years before she passed. I would love for her to "visit" me the way Merv does you. She came to me once in a dream and I was blown away. I was writing about her in my journal yesterday and reading some of the letters she wrote to me over the years including the one she wrote to me just before she passed. I was crying like a baby. She was so wonderful to me and made me feel like I could conquer anything I set my heart on. My life would have been lacking had I not had her in it. The same goes for my wonderful dad... today was the day for putting his words into the journal. Some of his beautiful poems... read one of his letters which had me bawling... what a wonderful, kind, wise, humorous man he was... love you dad. Love you too mom.
Anyway, what I am trying to say, is that you are really blessed to be able to communicate with people who have passed who mean a lot to you. It must help with the missing them.
I am SO looking forward to your book coming out.... well, well done. You should feel very proud of yourself.
Hugs, blessings and peace,
Jeanette
Hi Lisa,
Yes! The universe is in perfect harmony. That is why things are going very positive for you girl! I read @ ur discussion board, one of your fans even suggested that your first book be made into a movie, which I so agree! That would make a great movie! I am not much of a movie goer 'coz it is expensive here! But if it is Lisa Williams, no amount of $ is too expensive for me!! Yeah, you go girl! The Universal Mind know your loving intention for sure and the universe support you for that! And we support you too!!
In love and light.
Lisa, you are so right. I decided NEVER to force things to happen ever again. The last time I did, the universe was putting all kinds of obstacles in my way from buying a house...very uncooperative owner, etc... it was all just too hard! I had my eye on that house and just WANTED it, despite the signs. So I pushed and pushed and got it. Be careful what you wish for indeed! The old owner lied about basement flooding, and when it would rain, the basement filled up with raw sewage! That caused mold. And the foundation walls to buckle. AND...there were some thuggish teenage boys next door who burned a cross on our lawn and shot out our garage windows because my husband is Japanese! The universe whipped my butt and taught me a huge lesson...to PAY ATTENTION. Now, when I see that things aren't going smoothly and it seems like unrealistic obstacles are starting to happen, I back off...FAST. People like me have to learn the hard way it seems! Great show yesterday and great blog. I'm enjoying my new friendships, too. You have wonderful fans!

I lost my sister to breast cancer jan 13 2009. She loved dragonfly's and any time i see one i think of her. She was also blessed with the same gift as you in that she was able to communicate with the other side.
Last august 21st I was missing her something terrible...breaking down and sobbing in the car type of missing her. I had volunteered to do some community service work the afternoon of the 21st so I left work at noon. When I got into the car and started the engine, I looked up and there was a russet colored dragonfly hovering (like a hummingbird does) about 12" from the center of the hood of my car facing in looking at me. I took a moment and thought "thats odd" and then it flew right up to the windshield, went to the top of the windshield and then back down again, then flitted back to the center of my hood and then it flew away. I took a moment and thought..."if that was from you, that was pretty cool" and went to do my work. I realized on the way over that I had left the lens cloth for my camera at work (I was goign to a weddign the next day and was going to be taking pics) but knew I was not going to go back to work so figured I would use a paper towel instead.
I did my job (it took about 3 hours) and decided to head for the grocery store to finish my errands. On the way I was thinking about the wedding the following day and realized i needed to get a purse and mused if I had time to go get one and decided I did not and proceeded to the store.
When I arrived at the grocery store I turned off the ignition and looked up and there was that russet colored dragonfly again! Doing the exact same thing it did the last time! This time I said "Ok...I get it...LOL...and THANK YOU for the message!" It was the coolest thing!
I got home from shopping and there was a package from my sisters husband on the table. I opened it up and it had some misc stuff , bank statements, old audio tapes of her singing with my dad, and also in the package was a russet colored leather purse that belonged to her! "Ok Ok Ok...I got the message and thanked her again for going thru the extra effort to make me see things for what they were....a message from her to let me know she is ok". I felt alot better after that!
The following day I was preparing for the wedding and grabbed the purse and opened it to put my makeup in it and guess what was inside???....A LENS CLOTH!!!!
I just LOVE messages fromt he other side like that!
Oh and on a side note...it was an outside wedding and when we sat down in our seats a dragonfly landed in the chair next to us!
Thanks for letting me share!
So true, Lisa! : ) Lots of Love to you and everyone! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Tory, I loved your story.... thanks for sharing... it gave me goose bumps. It must have made you feel so much better knowing your sister was there for you. She made sure you got the signs loud and clear... awesome!!
Hugs,
Jeanette
Well said, Lisa!
Just wanted you to know I have learnt so much from you the past 6 months. I have been on a similar journey as yourself, and my husband recently moved out. Your blogs in December and around New Years were spot on for me, and you have no idea how important it was for me to read them.
Thank you!
Looking fw to reading your new book, and to your upcoming visit to Norway this year, which will be....? (when? :D )
Tory:
Your post was really interesting - I loved it. I always looks for Cardinals (the bird) for my signs from my parents so I know what you mean when you see the Dragonfly's. It is awesome.
Sue

Oh Lisa, that is inspiring again and well said. I am so happy for you and your book and I am delighted to see that you are fine.
It is true that signs are incredibe, just incredible. So delicate but gorgeous...
Lately, I've started to wish for things to change and I know it's not the right time but I am indeed expecting signs and lately I thought I had to wait, I had to be patient because I have to feel things to make it happen.
So let's look for the signs from the universe and see....
Much love to you and Charlie,
Lise
