Healing
Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 09:08PM Thank you for the response on yesterdays blog about healing the pain and I know I had a lot of people ask me if I was ok, and actually I am but I wrote that blog with other people in mind, and it's amazing how many other people can relate to what I am saying.
I just hope it helped.
Kev has also been going through some healing for something he has had all his life. He has gone through normal medical practices and other holistic methods and nothing worked. We sat at the I Can Do It in San Diego and for some reason, (fate) we sat next to this lovely woman who started to 'read' Kev. She is a medical intuitive. And she hit the nail on the head with everything with Kev.
He was very open to what she was saying and followed her instructions religiously 3 months later, he swears by her, and what she has done for him.
Her name is Caroline Sutherland carolinesutherland.com through taking her advice in changing his diet and taking various natural suppliments he has seen a major improvement in his overall health.
I know Kev felt very alone in his battles but with someone understanding your needs and helping you through it and guiding you down the pathway everything seems so much clearer and you can start to think straight again. Just a little bit of hope can help so many.
Just remember you are never alone. even though you may feel it, there is always someone who is willing to help you along, there is always someone who has been where you are, there is always someone to give you words of encouragement and hope. You can do, you have to believe in yourself.
With this in mind, Next week, my friends at Reflect and I have come up with a whole week dedicated to believing in yourself. Check back later in the week for more details and also how you can help!
Stay strong and Believe!
Hugs
Lisa xx

Thank you, great information!!! :)
that was awsome of you and kev to share. you know i have shared things that were hard. there are times you feel no one else knows. you are right.... there is always someone. sometimes it takes hitting bottom till you find that person that picks you up on there shoulders so you can scream....ITS OK
It is amzing how medical intuitives and holistic medicine can help such large physical problems, I have had a similar experience with kinesiology. That is very good to hear that it helped Kev so much. You are right, believing in yourself and believing that there is a way out is so important, sometimes we forget that and that is when we are tested the most. It is all about trusting in the universe.
Thank you for that inspiring blog
It's great to hear that you and Kev are both doing well. For a while there l was worried that you weren't ok but dah,it's the people around you . Keep being happy Hugs Rachxoxo

Your blogs are wonderful and look forward to the messages you send. Thanks !!
My physical healing started in 2005 by realising I had Candida Allergy (as mentioned on Caroline Sutherland's site). I think a lot of people suffer from this; since sugar and yeast excist in most foods.
Changing my diet with this in mind, led me to discover how a low carb lifestyle really can change _everything_ in your life. I went for a strict diet, more strict than Atkins. It's kind of a mix of a norwegian doctor's advice and a swedish author. For those who are interested, just msg me and I can explain.
I lost a lot of weight, I am now slim - but most important it affected my mental life as well. I started developing.. and I ended up as a Reiki practicioner. I am now a person in balance, physically and mentally - so I can really recommend everyone to start thinking about how healthy food can change your life.
Great blog as usual, Lisa - very helpful and comforting when most needed... :)
Dear Lisa,
Hi everyone. I have also had a specific health battle most of my life, i.e. migraines and chronic headaches. I have eventually accepted that sugar is at the bottom of most of my problems. Because I have a very sweet tooth (Cadbury's chocolate being heaven on earth for me), and have been eating sweets from a child, it is not surprising that my headaches started early. This has resulted in me taking many painkillers. Both sugar and painkillers also effect your mood and functionality. I have also suffered from depression and anxiety, not putting together the mood swings were being caused by the sugar. And so the circle goes round and round. Eventually I connected the dots. I have not eaten chocolates and sweets for over a month now, I still have brown sugar, sometimes honey in my rooibos tea (health tea grown only in SA), and if I feel like something sweet I am eating peanuts and raisins, stewed fruit and things like that. I have stopped taking any vitamins with stimulants in them because I am trying to cut out nervous energy. I have cut right back on painkillers. I feel so much better and calmer. Of course, I am also asking my angels everyday for their guidance. Love your blog. It's like a daily diary session. Blessings, Jeanette
I've just ordered one of Caroline's books!!!
Hi Lisa,
Your welcome :) and I'm glad you are ok. And hey hearing about Kev's healing process, yes I can relate to this. I myself have been healing from something for years. And when you're the only one going through it in your family, it does make you feel very alone. Things get better though. Also I found that natural alternative such as diet, supplements and especially exercise were and are key factors in my healing process. It's been a long road but I am so much better these days and on my way to recovery! Hey Lisa, thanks for sharing that with us. And I wish a full recovery to health for Kev. Take care. Marcel :) :)
I don't understand why people keep saying you are never alone. The reality is that sometimes you ARE ALONE.
Lisa, I am writing from Boise to let you know that as you said- it would be an arrest was made yesterday affernoon-both the child's mother and step father were arrested and charged with first degree murder. You can read more at www.idahostatesman.com There are also stories from the beginning of this case at ktvb.com. Not sure if you knew but Nancy Grace was covering it as well as other national news ( Fox, CNN)
You were right on . Also -we love Carolyn Sutherland. Have read her columns for years. How fortunate you were to connect with her. She is very gifted.
Never mind my previous post. I just found my answer in a book I was reading. It has daily meditations and I think I know what I am to do now.
Hi Lisa,
I am sorry to hear that Kevin struggles with a health issue! He always appears to be a vision of health! Obviously, we don't always know by looking at a person what they carry in their lives; whether it is a chronic disease, or pain that hurts the heart. Everyone has a story.
We need to be sensitive and caring to everyone, because their suffering could be at the breaking point, and what we say, or how we treat them, could influence the outcome of their day, and give them the strength to keep going. It sounds like a huge responsibility, but really, how hard is it to extend a smile, or a kind word to those we come across? It is a small gesture, but it could lighten a soul and lift up a life!
Feel well!
Love and Hugs,
Cheryl
I'm glad you're okay, Lisa!!! And that Kev has improved his health with the help of Caroline!!! It's so true that there is always someone trying to show you "the way." Or helping you along "the way." : ) Much Love <3 <3 <3
Lisa, I'm so glad fate gave a helping hand and Kev is doing better
but how do we find these people that can help us? I feel like i go through life with so much on my shoulders and so many downs and i am so very alone in my struggles and i try to reach out but i don't get the help i need.
Thanks! BFan
Hey there Lisa,
So glad you are doing better! Sorry to hear about Kev's struggle, but glad that he is getting positive results from Caroline. Tell Kev he is definitely not alone and there are so many that can definitely relate to him. Not sure what Kev's issue is, but I suspect it is some chronic pain, back pain, joint pain which can really bring a person to their knees especially when conventional and holistic procedures and treatment modalities fail us. As you already know, being a healer yourself, you can learn to heal yourself. Granted it is not easy but when one is desperate, you find the strength from within. I am a big preacher of how diet plays a key role in our overall health and it took me years to really get this in my own head. I can't say enough just how important our diets are in our lives. What is good for one person can potentially be poison for another. It is finding the balance of the proper foods for your unique chemistry and body composition. It is not easy but with trial and error and a little guidance, you can change your life. It sounds like Kev is mastering this and I am happy to hear this. Also, I learned along the way, lots of water. Whenever you feel pain, drink 4 -5 glasses of water and you will be surprised how it helps. I wont even mentiion crystals because I know you are on top that one...:).
Big Hugs,
DreamSpirit
Thank you for your help Lisa...
Thank you for the words of encouragement. Sometimes it's hard to believe that there are people who discern the truth and are there to be supportive amidst seemingly hopeless situations. It's also difficult to not feel alone when one is continually a target for harassment and denigration, by people who have garnered support through duping others with charm and humor. Few people seek or recognize the truth! Thanks.
Interesting... thanks!!
Lisa, thank you again, I am really reassured to hear you are well ;-) ouf ! and I really hope Kev will go on getting better.
I am sure that you helped people, you constantly give us messages of hope so your blogs are a real help. The problem of dealing with all sorts of pains is so vast and it is so interesting to see how people manage to heal.
This week-end about "believing in yourself" seems great, I am so sorry I am so far away.
It is true we are never alone, even if we feel lonely, there are always little angels around. My friends are my angels, I would be nothing without them ..
Have a great day !
Lise
Hi Lisa, thanks for sharing your story about Kev. He sounds like such a nice person. It is true about pain, it brings up memories of times not so good, but when I look where I started and where I am now I sometimes wonder how I ever got here. Meeting my partner has made all the difference to my life. Keep up the great work, it inspires others to do better. Between you and Oprah Winfrey what great women you both are.

Dear Lisa, Last night was the first night that i watched your shows... My best friend/sister told me that I needed to watch your showes because I needed help with alot of stuff that was going on in my life..It was all ready a shock to me when out of the blue when she came back in my life, because I lost touch with her 4years ago..Then I had this situation that hit me hard in my life and my daughters life... I see her as my angle looking out for me but she is well alive... So I take everything that she says in heart.. But anyways I wanted to tell you that your shows are awsome and very helping....thanks Talisa
