Remember where you came from!
Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 04:12PM I know the day has been taken up with Michael Jackson... and yes it's been a sad day and I for one have been overwhelmed by this. I have been watching it on the internet and wish I was back in LA. But the amount of people who loved him and have been blessed by his music his astonishing, and I know it's had an impact on many people.
I remember staying up watching 'Thriller' it was incredible and that was a time that was important to me. My brother is a huge fan and I know he is missed by so many.I have shed a tear with his death, just as many others have, as there have been many times his music has helped me through troubled times. In fact, 'I'll be there" is a huge song for me and watching Mariah Carey sing it, did bring a tear to my eye.
However, I will not go on about MJ's death as it's been overwhelming for many and there will be some who want to come here to escape this, but I wanted to at least let you know that I too have been impacted by his passing.
Well on a lighter note, for me it's been a huge day. I had an interview with BBC WM and also BBC Hereford and Worcester, and to me this was huge. I have been interviewd by Oprah and Larry King, but nothing compares to what happened today. I know many of you will not know what radio station I am talking about, but this is massive to me.
These are the stations who broadcast to my home town, Redditch. It's important for me to remember my roots. I sat there as the host mentioned that I had been on Oprah and Larry king, but to me it wasn't about that, it was about being interviewed and people who I knew could hear me... incredible. I loved it.
You should never forget your roots!
To me that was amazing, and I am so happy that I was able to do it.
So always remember where you come from and enjoy every minute of what your life is. Because only you have made the change.
with love
Lisa xx

I was wondering if you are going to do another tv show in the US? I love it and watched it all the time.
Thanks Clair
It has been a very sad day...we are just watching the highlights on waking this morning, of Michael's Memorial service...
I am so happy for you and it is always good to remember this...
I posted this the other day , on Facebook, after feeling so very blessed and thankful for where and what we have now. albeit later in life...after going through what we have...

Heard you on car radio on Joanne malins show on WM - welcome home!!
it's a good story I was touched by the Michael Jackson event, yet as a channel to higher ups I realize being human is not all it's cut out to be. It's made such a great deal of attachment to people places and things and well. In reality I thought you'd mention we really are always there.
As for family well I'm glad mine is always near that's about as close as it get's I love my family I'm born too, it was fun while I was very young, I'm grateful for reconnecting with my true God/Goddess Parents as they are in truth the ones who brought me back home .
Home is Where the Heart is and well I'm Happy For Michael he is free and has no longer to be on assignment without connections. a Lady of your Clarity knows what I mean if, not , try to contact some ascended master teachers and Angels these are more real to me then the Human Condition.
thanks for your post I Love you dearly and follow you , I"m a great fan.
Pouring out love here, even when the world does not want it.
its a cheery day and a wonderful eclipse. I love these.

Lisa: I can imagine it was really incredible for you to be have people who you know from childhood hear you and find out what a world-wide figure you have become! Your name is now known throughout many countries and to have the people of your hometown hear all about it must make you proud. You know your LW family here loves you and now your hometown can know how much. Congratulations!
I know the first time I went back to the town I was born in it gave me such a warm, intense feeling of pride. I had left Yugoslavia (now Croatia) when I was two years old and to return to it when I was 23 was such a thrill. Going back to your roots is humbling and uplifting, all at once.
Thanks for all you do for us Lisa. See you in Reno. YEA!!
Peace & Love, Anna
Thank you Lisa for reminding us of our roots! Wherever we go may it never be far from home in our hearts. It is always good to reconnect in some way with where we came from.
Michael Jackson's memorial was very touching and honorable. I was very impressed with every part of the tribute to himj as a person who loved deeply and gave of himself. Didn't know that he was the Worlds Greatest (Guinness Book of World Records) as far as giving to charities in the starworld!! I also love that he was recognized as someone who changed people in their hearts and their attitudes toward acceptance in the world. His children should be proud of all he has done. His music was so AWESOME and a part of all of our lives, and our family. He will be missed but his legacy will live on.
Love you as always, Lisa, and hope you find time to visit Texas soon! In the meantime we all watch your shows...(even the reruns!! LOL) My mom who has passed (Ida Lou) keeps sending me cardinal birds to remind me she is with me. Thank you for validating that there is another place over the rainbow, and our loved ones who have made the trip are ALWAYS near. Blessings to you and your family.

Yes, it's been sad but heartwarming watching MJ's beautiful memorial tribute on the t.v. today. His music will live on forever & his spirit lives on with us forever in our hearts & souls.
Thanks for sharing another comforting blog with me. Congrats on your exciting interview in your hometown Lisa!!! Wishing you much success & happiness! God bless
Hi Lisa!!! Yes, everyone will remember the impact that Michael Jackson has made in his lifetime here on Earth. He was very gifted person, but had many challenges just like many people. I know he's probably alot happier now than he was here. But, I'm sure he's watching over his family and friends. It's hard, but with time it gets easier and thinking about the good times always helps. Many Blessings, Never Losses.
I'm glad you had a great interview and it meant alot to you. Much Love to you and everyone <3 <3 <3
MJs death was overwhelming to me because my son recently passed due to a drug combo interaction. He was being treated for PTSD and just had knee surgery meds caused sudden death 5 days after surgery. So, when I saw little Paris Jackson speaking about how much she loves her father, started to break down and cry. I felt her pain all too well...I have been trying to surround myself with positive things and go out in the sunshine it helps me.
Hi Lisa, your interview I'm sure was "hat's off" to your wonderful root place to Redditch!! :-) I'm very happy for you and YOU coming so far, and staying grounded and humble. THANK YOU..!
Yes, today on 7-7..it was so sad about the loving heart of Michael Jackson. God Bless him and his children especially. Brook Shields was so loving, kind and true emotion when she spoke about them both being "child like", the fun, laughter. We ALL need that. They Had true friendship.
On TV this evening the Mgr. of the Fla Miami Zoo in 2005 said Michael and his children went to the Zoo alone to enjoy all the wonderful animals. He said they were so very, Appreciative and Kind & being by themselves to enjoy the Zoo. The Mgr. said on camera Michael's children were so well behaved and he was very Humble and kept saying "thank you, this means a lot to us". Just them as a family and privacy. Then this Mgr. told Michael that he truly had no idea that he was such a nice man, it was nice to meet him in person. They took a photo together which is on the wall the TV station showed, with many other Celebrity's and the Mgr. said there WAS NO EGO. When the Mgr. said goodbye...Michael took his hand with both of his and said with a smile "No one will ever know how it is to be me."
He was thee only "celebrity" that did not think the world revolved around him. HOW lovely and kind. We are all just the same really...
Much love and good health to all,
hugs,
l was just sitting in a shop getting my false nails taken off and they had highlights from MJ service on TV. l kept having to pretend my nose was itchy because l had tears in my eyes. The poor man who was doing my nails teared up as well. Peace Micheal , l thankyou for your music and l thankyou for being you. Just read your twitter comment. MINT SAUCE. l love the stuff. Were you having roast lamb? My husband is so uneducated when it comes to mint sauce. He thinks it is a sin to put apple sauce on pork and mint sauce on lamb.UNEDUCATED. Hope you are having a great time on your travels,be safe.Hugs and Kisses Rach xoxo
Hello Lisa, yes many people watched the homage for Michael Jackson on TV and that was so moving. The day he died I was shocked and few days after I went to the gatherings for him in Paris and it was incredible because so many people were there, moved and united by his music. Now I tried not to think about it too much and be happy for him and I think the best thing is that his music is eternal. I prefer smiling now and thinking he feels better.
It's good if your interview was great !
Have a great day !
Lise
God bless Michael and his family and his fans. We have all suffered a great loss, but we also shared in a wonderful gift of his talent.
So happy you finally "made it" by being recognized at home. It must feel wonderful.
We still have the lights on back in the good old USA....hurry home!
Blessings to you & your family, Lisa.....peace....deb t/illinois
Hi my love, Yes, I too watched the tribute to MJ. From beginning to end. Brooke Sheilds was very emotional which of course stated me! Seeing Paris at the end talk really gor to me!! Bless MJ and his dear family!! My love goes out to them!
I am so glad that your interviews went great! Even though I did not come from a great family life, I can still be thankful for mmy family because without that xperience I would not be where I am today! You take care and stay well and hurry home.
Love ya, Mary
Lisa:
I also watched the tribute to Michael Jackson on my computer and I was so moved by the entire event. I sure hope he could see this tribute so he would know how loved he was by so many in the entire world. I kept thinking to myself "I wonder if Lisa will be able to contect with Michael so he can tell you how he is doing, and that he did see this tribute." Please keep us all posted if you do get to connect with him....we would love to hear about it.
Congratulations on your Radio interview in your hometown of Redditch; it is funny how the simple things in life mean so much more to us. You can fill huge theaters with people who love you and believe in you (me being one of them), but being in your hometown with people who "knew you before all of this fame" means so much more. I couldn't agree with you more.....good for you. I know this is how I would feel. I appreciate everything I have in my life....my husband, family, friends, health, and job. You don't need to be rich to be happy. Sadly, Michael Jackson proved this...
Sue
G'morning, Lisa!
That's funny Sue, Because I was thinking the same things. I could see (in my imagination) Michael up on that stage listening to all the loving tributes, Giving comfort, laughing and even dancing! I too, shed some tears. It seems that after experiencing the sudden loss of a loved one, we are linked by the heart to those who suffer that pain. My heart goes out to the Jackson Family in their time of sorrow.
Yes, Lisa Please do let us know if you hear from MJ!!!
As for you, Dear Lady, CONGRATULATIONS! Nothing tastes as sweet as kudo's from the folks back home. I was just on Facebook,(Thanks for inviting me!) admiring your photo's.
They are GREAT! Austrailia must be a very beautiful place. You guy's certainly were quite busy, down under! I was wondering, Do you have pix of Redditch, you would like to share?
I'd love to see the place that you hail from. Plus, I just love the name! My full name is Kimberly. My mom always told me, the name is old English. So I looked it up, sure enough, I am named after an accient mound of dirt!!! Apparently, the people took their name from the land, Hence, The Kimberlys'. Sorry, for going on so.
Have a great day,ya'll!
Love ya,
Mound of Dirt Aka Cymburloch
Hey there Lisa,
The whole thing is just so sad. Michael Jackson the man behind the glove, moonwalk and music is what gets to my heart. He was eccentric, shy, mysterious, and interesting. I just feel that he is now in peace and no longer suffering.
That is so awesome to broadcast in your home town. Wow, I am so happy for you as that must have been surreal for you. So true that we should not forget our roots. Lord knows, I spent so much time avoiding my own for various reasons. I can honestly look back and smile now. It is funny how a couple of years of living and experiences can change your prospective on life.
So, I must tell you a secret... I HAVE THE BEST SEATS TO YOUR SHOW IN CT!!!! Woohoo! At 9:29 a.m. this morning, I waited patiently for the clock to get to 9:30 a.m. and the world was on hold at the time. The longest minute I will tell you. So I kept pressing the refresh on the browser until they opened up the presale tickets...LOL. I may have been the first person to purchase a ticket. Sorry but I had to give you the full experience! I almost let out a shout but I have be somewhat appropriate at work... got them fooled into thinking I am a normal individual. Don't want to shatter my image...LOL.
Wishing you a bright day with lots of sunshine!
Lots of Hugs,
DreamSpirit
Oh yeah, its such a sad loss, MJ did a lot to us all. God bless his soul and let the love shine through from the other side.
I'd have a great time listening to you if I could.
But I can't get it on my radio... LoL
But I guess you gave the guys back home something to listen about!!
Lots of hugs from Elisabet in Sweden
yaaaiiiiii :D
I can relate to your radio event at home. Years ago my music was played on the radio a little all over the place (including USA, England and Australia) but the morning that the local radiostation called me up and said they wanted to play my music, that was a rush.
Mom was so proud and told everyone about it and my friends taped it on cassettes (it was a few years back).
Also, I cried my eyes out when Michael's daughter came on stage and talked to the people. That was so unexpected and brave and so sad. My thoughts are with his family but even more his children.
Keep up the good work, Lisa.
Love and light always, Linda
Hi Lisa,
I know what you mean when you say about certain Michael Jackson songs having a special meaning to you - mine is 'You Are Not Alone' as it was played at my niece's funeral and since then has always made me cry when I hear it.
Hope you are enjoying your time in the UK x
Hi Lisa
Wow ! It must have been amazing for you to go on the H & W Radio, what a spin out, I can't believe that the Palace Theatre didn't want a show, I could have filled it just with people I've told that you were going back to Redditch.....LOL.
Have a great time in sunny old Redditch, give the old Barleymow a wave for me, haven't been back since 2006, but could just go a curry from that little place in Studley.
Hoping to come and see you again in Melbourne.
Smiles.............
Hayley (Melbourne)
Lisa,
I think you should have your own radio show- you are always wanting to help people. If you cannot have your own radio show maybe you can have a couple of hours a day on a radio station. I don't know why but I have a feeling that will be an option for you in the future. good luck!
Thanks Lisa for the uplifting message. I am a new fan and I recently watched all of your TV shows on Lifetime online. So amazing!
I lost my uncle last year. He was like a dad to me. He had lung cancer and I became his hospice person. I moved into his bedroom and walked him all the way through to the end. I tell people its like holding a loved one's hand and walking a hundred miles together. At the end of the journey, they walk through a door and you cannot enter. Instead, you turn around and walk a hundred miles home missing that person with each painful step.
It was this tremendous loss that nudged me into beginning a spiritual journey. Four days after my uncle died I was holding his reading glasses just crying and missing him. Suddenly, I felt a subtle current of energy flow through them. It was at that very moment I began seeking an explanation.
I am grateful to you because your readings give me so much hope. I know you are real and I believe our loved ones truly are with us. You are a kind and gentle, loving person. God bestowed a great gift upon you and I am so proud that you still remember humble beginnings.
I was a world class athlete in the 80's and I always tell the youngsters I address that no matter how accomplished you become at anything you do, it is important to remember we are small. It's a way of saying, remain humble and remember where you came from.
Peace to you Lisa. I truly hope to meet you one day!
Shannon
Good post. RIP Michael.
The past couple of days, I have been feeling so much "lighter", freespirited, mentally and physcially more productive than I have been and have felt in a longer period of time than I can remember. I'm far from whole but I am feeling I'm back on track, or almost.
Thanks for all that you do.
Sunny came home.
Best,
Laura
