It's not about the talent it's about the fun!

We have one of our friends here at the moment who I have known for
years. She is one of my oldest friends and she said a phrase recently
as she murdering the song, 'i will always love you' on karaoke. She
said, it's not about the talent, it's about the fun and you know she
is correct!

She had so much fun in singing that song, everyone also had fun
listening to her... And even though it's not her talent, she has a
talent for entertaining.

But it doesn't matter what you do in life as long as you enjoy what
you do. You should always have fun, do everything with a smile on your
face. Yes there are moments that are tough and it's not easy, but if
you try to get through things in a positive way and if possible and
you can you have to enjoy every experience that life throws at you no
matter what. You don't have to have talent to enjoy what you do.

So next time you are faced with a situation that you are concerned
about, throw yourself into it and enjoy what you can.

Have a great week

With love

Lisa xx

I love that concept!... It's not about the talent, but the fun you have doing it...

We would all enjoy life a lot better if we could all be like that lol.. and actually... when I find I am able to not pressure myself to do something "perfectly", I not only am able to have more fun, but more often than not, I do Better naturally that way than when I put the pressure on myself...

=)

You know, that is so true, Lisa. :]

And another thing is that often, when you do something a lot, which is very easy when you are having fun with it - you automaticly get better at it.
If you're really bad at painting, but still like doing it, you will most definitely get better at it as time goes by.

So, to just have fun with it and not worry about talent or not talent is definitely a good thing to live by!

I always think of what Abe Lincoln once said, "Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be." (not exact, but you get the idea.) I run into so many people over the course of the day that need to apply this to there lives. Things would go so much better.

Thanks for the uplifting blog, Lisa!

Hey Lisa! Thank you for de answer in the last post!!!
I always ask myself about this : "Why those people charge for something thay have for nothing?". You know, I dont agree 100 % but now I understood and I respect it.
Like I told here before, Chico Xavier was one of the bigest and greatst psych? He wrote more than 500 books and never took any penny. Nothing!!! And he used to work normaly in a "normal" job and at evening he did what you do. But each person is has a particular life style, we can not compairs.
What I think is absurd like, another medium who I saw somewhere someone compairing with you, charging like 1.500 dolars voor a reading!!! My god!!!
The first tima I saw you on youtube I had a very good feeling (I'm also a medium but not that strong and not in the same way as you) - at the same moment I ask myself if you knew about Allan Kardec.... and than I had the same question about charging...
But I think, your spiritual mentor should have said something about if it was really wrong.
I belive what you do, I belive in your very shinny energie and I see how good you do for people and that you do it with passion, with your heart.
I hope you read this.
Big hug!

Hey Lisa,
Thanks for this today. I have played guitar for well over 30 years. However I can't read music, write music, or even play by ear. I played in my church flolk group from the time I was in 7th grade until I got married. That's how I learned finger positions for chords, etc. For many years now my guitars have been sitting in the closet. Deep inside I keep getting the want to pull them out and play just for the fun of it....for myself.
I always talk myself out of it because "I'm not as good as...." and self-talk like that.
But you know, I always did like playing. It felt good. So with what you wrote today and what Kev has written with his "challenge" which had me thinking about things, I think I 'll pull out a guitar and bring myself back to what I enjoyed in the past...just for the FUN!!
Thanks so much!!
Love you! ♥

Hey my love, How true!
Your blogs always hit home!
No matter what you do, whether you
are good at it or not, but
enjoy doing it don't stop! As I look
back at what I am good at,I can't find
anything. I can't sing, paint, write
or play an instrument but that
does not mean that I can't enjoy
myself and do my best in all that I do!
And that is all that matters,my love.
To be all that I can be!!

See you on Sunday!
Love ya lots,
Mary

Hey there Lisa,

Your friend sounds like a blast! She definitely has the right attitude. We tend to take ourselves too serious and have to lighten things up sometimes.

Live, love, and laugh! Although I can be quite serious and passionate about issues, I also love to laugh and keep things light. You can't always be in that serious frame of mind. I don't think my partner and I would have made through some of the rough spots if it weren't for our laughter. We were presented with some daunting life changing issues that could have separated us. Luckily, it made us stronger. She is quite zany and keeps me light which is a great addition to my life. We sometimes need someone to bring it out in us. Nothing like a good belly laugh to cleanse the soul and bring you out of a funky state of mind.

Wishing you lots of fun and magic!

It is all about having fun and just enjoying life. We all need to learn not take ourselves so seriously. Have we reached a point were we have to be so perfect that we don't know how to have fun and laugh at who we are. There are things that I am not good at, but that doesn't stop me. Live, laugh and have fun for the moment.

Much love,
Cindy/cynthlynn
