Angels waiting to help

For those of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook you would have known I had the day from H***. I should have driven to Rochester from Columbus, Ohio as it would have taken me less time, but for some reason I was meant to be on the flight I was on.

I missed my flight by seconds. As I was running to the gate, the assistant was just walking back to her desk from closing the door on the flight that I should have been on... never mind it happens, and I was transfered on to a flight to Buffalo.

It was werid, because I am probably the most unsociable traveler ever.  I stick my headphones on and watch movies on my ipod, and the reason is, is because I don't like getting in to conversations and it turning to my work. It's my time to switch off and leave the spirits on the ground... (doesn't always happen but hey, I try) So when someone says hi, I smile, say hi back and get on with my ipod.

Last night was different. This guy sat down. I had my book that I was reading he had his kindle, and we both said hi. And suddenly from that moment we started talking and was interupted by the safety demonstration (understandably) and then by the other announcements... but we chatted and chatted and chatted. For some reason I felt I was able to tell him what I did.

So I offered him tickets to the show. He came along with a friend of his, wife. I knew that he was there for a memorial service for his friend but that was it.

And guess what, they got a reading! Crazy. The wife had never heard of me, and had sadly lost her husband 2 weeks ago, and I started and she raised her hand, and her husband came through... amazing.

I knew there was a reason why I was sitting next to him on that flight, even when there were plenty of empty seats, I sat next to him.

Also his wife is an inspirational author also check out twelvegifts.com I couldn't believe it.

Its amazing how you meet people for reasons, and they come into our life to help... and you just never know where your next angel is waiting for you!

With love

Lisa xx

WOW Lisa, how amazing was this! I actually have chills from readng this! Talk about "meant to be"......
I can't even come close to you being "unsociable", that is just NOT you, lol but yet I can understand wanting those quiet moments to yourself to just relax and enjoy the flight.

I am sure they will forever be eternally grateful to you for your kindness and all that you did for them. Just amazing how this all came to be really.

Warm Hugs
Lori

Awww, Lisa.......What a beautiful and touching experience! You must have been in awe and just thrilled. I am sure that you made all the difference for her in this early and overwhelming stage of grief.

Have a great day and show tomorrow!

LOVE

The guiding hand of love will always lead us where we need to go - when we let it. My daily saying for the past few months has been "let go...and let God" ~ And when I do - I find myself surrounded with kindness from all those I encounter.

My girlfriend who passed away 6 years ago today (24th) ~ always, ALWAYS spoke this way - that all things are meant to be and how fabulous it was for her to find herself connected with someone she could help with her reiki or a listening ear.

I enjoyed this blog tremendously ~ Thank you!

WE (my 2 aunts, mom and I) met you last night after your show in rochester. You're such a sweet lady and your friend Mike is sweet too. Thank you for explaining to my aunt that her son has enough male influences in his life. I knew his grandfather loves my brothers and him as well as them will always support John.

I talk to my grandparents all the time as well as her father. He is and was a great man that was more caring than almost anyone I've ever met. He is trully happy with all of the love john and our other cousin Nikki get. We all care so much about them.
As for my grandparents I knew you could feel them when you talked about the heart ache, my grandpa died from a sudden heart attack on his way home from Italy. It was his time to go so he could be with my grandma.

Although I miss them being here in body, I know I am lucky to be able to feel them in spirit and I know then care so much about me. The night of our house fire I know my grandpa was with me, watching me, I could feel him and his support. He came to me after I had left me family to go with my boyfriend, I was going to stay with him for two weeks. My mom and brothers went to my aunts and I was the only one of my family not with them. I knew I needed my grandpa and boyfriend. When I was little I couldn't fall asleep with out my grandpa rubbing my back and that night I fell asleep to that feeling. He was taking care and me.

Even though I didn't get a reading by you from him last night I am still happy I went and got to meet you. You're an incredible person to share such a wonderful gift with the world and help so many people. I have faith in my grandparents to take care of me even when there are troublesome things going on. With out you so many people wouldn't have that faith. I appreciate all that you do and all the people you help.

Thank you for being the kind compationate person you are!

Good Morning,Dear Lady
Absolutely, great show last night!! Luv your lavender coat. Tres chic! That was so Lovely that Husband who had passed only 2 weeks ago comming in for his wife. Also enjoyed the reading with the mother and 2 sons. The boys were just blown away. So touching.
While, I myself did not recieve a message I know some useen loved one was there for me. I kept feeling my hair being played with and the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. I would have loved for someone to come through w/ a message. still, I have recieved messages and seen things. it is more important that the people who are uncertan about the afterlife to have the knowledge and comfort that a message from beyond brings.
You might want to bring Charlie and Kev along next time. We have the National Museum of Play and a HUGE butterfly pavillion very close to The Auditorium Theater. The museum is very" hands on" and always has cool exibits (I enjoy it!).
I wish we'd gotten a chance to meet but, I had to dash. I had no Idea your show would last so long. Wow, you must be exausted. I have heard that it is somewhat "draining" Well, what can we say, you are amazing, Lisa.
Good luck w/ the show tonight. Have a rockin' good time!
Luv ya,
Kim

I was totally blown away....it is amazing how things work. Things do happen for a reason. I am sorry you missed your flight, but I am glad you did. I spent some time last night checking out the twelvegifts web site. I want to thank you for sharing it with us, she sounds like an amazing woman and like attracks like.....referring to the cancer.

You are simply AMAZING. When you see Kaz/Karen tonight give her an extra squeeze from me.

Much love,

I saw the show of which you speak, and it raised emotions in me that I've been trying to avoid, since my good college friend died a few years ago. I went to the show hoping he might come through, but it didn't happen...at least not publicly. I did sort of feel a sensation in my core that maybe, maybe he might have been around.

Anyway...I loved what I saw, and before last night, I hadn't even heard of you, but now I'm really glad I did. The closure you brought to people was an amazing thing. I think that maybe there's something about you that opens up people's hearts so that they can heal...and it's definitely what we need more of in this world. Please continue to do the good work that you do, and I hope to see you in Rochester again.

Love,

Kate

What a heartwarming story--thank you for sharing it with us. I, too, believe there are certain people who enter our lives for a reason. They're supposed to be there, even if for a short period of time.

I am looking forward to seeing your show in Lowell, MA tonight! I was fortunate enough to see your show in Concord, NH last year. You are such a genuine person, and I am so looking forward to seeing you again this evening!
