Lessons of patience!
Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:31PM It's amazing how many times in life we have to ride the wave to get to the shore!
Thats exactly how it's been with me over the last few months. I have had to wait and wait and wait and ride out something, until finally I have reached the shore and I am able to move forward with renewed strength and confidence.
I bet you are all wondering what it is... and I SO wish I could say something but until I have everything in writing I can't really say... yes I know I am teasing you, but lets just say, you will all be happy about it... I will let your imagination run wild now! ha ha ha
But it's true... sometimes we have to wait and wait until what we want happens. We are left at the mercy of others and there is little you can do about it but wait. For me this has been a lesson in patience, but also it's taught me not to get wrapped up in it, but to move on and find other things to occupy my mind.
That is what happened, I have now focused my attention on my wonderful site, where I have members all over the world and focus on giving hope and comfort to so many people in a different way.
Like I say my lesson here is patience, it's not been easy at all, and at one point I wondered what I was going to do, but finding another outlet and source is just part of the challenge. And you never know, while you are waiting for one thing to happen and you focus elsewhere you just might find your true vocation in life!

My whole life has been a lesson in patience. I am glad that you shared with us.
It's so weird that these blogs get posted at exactly the right time! (just got a chill). Anyway, I've been riding a wave for too long, and after a long and depressing day I've decided that tomorrow I'm gonna start over and take a new direction! I even bought sage today so I can spend some time cleansing myself and this house! lol I dunno, seems like a good place to start : ) Anyway, I really hope YOUR wave leads you back on television! <3 That would be awesome.

Patience and believing in our dreams is really hard sometimes but yes we have to hang on.
Also Lisa, many thoughts for the families who have lost their loved ones in the airplane "crash", I couldn't sleep last night... This is so sad...

is such a great thing to be reminded of, EVERYTHING has parts of that and its'
funny you know. It being headed patience, I hadn't actually thought of it in that way.
Which is Odd I know haha. But it really spoke to me. I do get wrapped up in the moment at times, and it's hard to not feel. Feel the moment, to put it to the side and focus on tommorrow sometimes and believe in today can be hard. Thank you for your encouragement. You always make me smile for your honesty and insight. Well firstly I LOVE the new photo! Gorgeous!! :) It's certainly true about patience too, I have spent years feeling like I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing and now suddenly everything is beginning to fall into place - I hope! Yeah for new beginnings! :)

Patience is a virtue that sadly I lack in abundance lol and I like you analogy about riding the wave to the shore..... Steps back onto her boogie board and rides that wave hard, now which one is the biggest and fastest LOL

Lisa, what I have learn't in life is that things flow better if we trust the process of life, then there would be alot less worry. As they say, just trust your gut instincts. And I am sure you already know this. Patience is definitely something I have learn't in my life. I'm the most patient person I know. Alot of people need to learn this thing called patience. So I guess it is good that I live right near the shore in fact ... I live on Shore Road...LOL However, still learning the art of patience. I always do things backwards anyway... it makes it more interesting.
It sounds like you have something up your sleeve but you can't talk about it. Well whatever it is music, Reality TV or documentary it will be great. Well I guess we will have to be patient and wait to hear about it....LOL
