3 Mediums!
Monday, June 15, 2009 at 11:12PM Thank you for all the birthday wishes and I will be thinking of you when I am in NYC with Janey this weekend. She has a whole weekend planned and knowing Janey it will involve a picnic and champagne!
It's been a crazy yet productive day and I had 2 interviews, which both lasted an hour... and both of them I did readings on them. John Holland and I are working together next week on an event with Colette Baron Reid, in Lowell MA. and so I was on John's show.
It's amazing how spirit can connect with 2 mediums... One on one side of the country, one on the other. It was incredible and fun. We had some characters who shone through.
Spirit will give us information that we need to know, not always what we want to know, and sometimes they don't want to share their intimate details with everyone on the Radio, and they also give us things that we can relate too, so that we can pass on information accurately.
I love it. So thats what it's going to be like next week and if you are coming, you are in for a treat. Colette is amazing, funny and so gifted. John, ... well he is adorable, lovable John (we have to add handsome in there somewhere) he is extremely gifted in communicating with Spirit, and myself.
So come along have some fun and don't forget to say hi after the show to all of us!
I've had a menopause moment which means I can't really remember what has been going on today and the only thing that stood out was BBS Radio, which was Visable by Numbers and then being on Johns Show.
So I am going to head off, because all my menopause brain can think about is packing for a month... yes a month... I know it's crazy and I have lists everywhere, in fact I have a list for a list.... it's what happens when you get older!
So have fun today and hopefully, i'll be a little more inspirational tomorrow and my normal brain would have taken over!

Menopause mind? Oh honey! i have to write everything down! Am told this passes. Thank the Goddess! But for now I am writing everything down. Shopping lists. What I have to do tomorrow. The name of that person I met who I said I'd follow up with in two days.... it all gets written down. When my bills are due.... oh my I need a PA!
We should each have a PA issued whilst we are going through menopause.

Menopause? Surely, you are still too young. At 49, I am past menopause. I have settled in to being forgetful. Now, I need to put on a pair of glasses, to find my glasses!! The worst is, I cant see my face without my glasses on so, no more eye make up. A mascara brush jammed in the eye is no fun at all (I know). God knows what my make-up looks like. On the positive side, I feel that I have "grown into myself." Watch out for those "power surges"!!!!!
Lisa, you will always be young and lively. That's just your personality. So, have a fab birthday in NYC.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend! You sure live a whirlwind life don't you?!!! Oh my goodness, I get exhausted just READING about all you do! :) Hope your recent detox has prepared your body for the impending avalanche of champagne! lol
I had a crack up at all the comments so far about menopause! I agree with Deb in San Diego - a PA sounds great! My younger friends love to tease me if I ask "Is it hot in here or is it just me". They always answer in unison "No Deb, it's just you!" :O
I'm not sure if I have been forgetful though, but not remembering that is probably a sign that I HAVE been forgetful. Oh no, now I'm really worried! lol. Anyway, in the event if I dare to delude myself that I'm not getting older, I always have my wonderful kids around me to point out a new wrinkle and call me "Dinosaur". Lovely children! :)
I was checking out John Holland's website recently and have noted some great books he has written, which I will be reading in the future. There's also some great links on his site also.
Enjoy your 3 Mediums experience Lisa, believe me, if I could be there, I would!

Oh Lisa. I can not wait to come and see you in Lowell, MA. I have been posting this everywhere but I have been waiting since I saw your first show. I have never seen you do a reading in a theatre the way John Edwards does. I have seen you do it on the street. I am so excited and cautiously optomisitic about one of us getting a reading. My mom and I are looking forward to seeing it in action and know that it is going to be a great night!!!

Oh I am so jealous of everyone who gets to see all three of you at once. I have been to your show and Collettes, but not Johns. I would love to see John in action. If he is even half as good as you and Collette ,that will be a show you wouldn' want to miss. I teaveded internationally for a living too... would aslo plan my stops and have things shipped (fedex or UPS) to arrive at my next stop..
Hikers do this when they plan their three month trail trips....

You sweet young thing should not suffer from this, but I remember from your book why you do.
As an Acupuncturist I must say in my experience it works really well on these kinds of symptoms so if you can get to one between packing and traveling and doing shows... phew... I would.
Have a fab time in NY enjoy the celebration for as long as you can. You so deserve it.
