Get out the chair and LIVE!
Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10:39AM I am totally crazy... yes everything is out of the old office now and into the new place, the girls had to work on my dining table yesterday which they loved as it was so bright and airy and the new place is the same so I hope that they will be happy too.
Jonesy and I went out shopping to get everything that I thought the office needed, such as glasses, plates etc which also included wine glasses!!! ha ha ha so we have all the comforts of home now. Kev has said we just need a sofa bed and then he can escape the madness when Charlie and I are having our moments!!
I just know that this new change is what we all need. It's going to allow me to expand in the ways that I want and do the projects that I need to get done and also help everyone else as they are not working on top of each other.
When you make the space you can create so much more which is something I want to do.
Things are not handed to us on a silver platter, we all have to work hard to make things happen, and we have to create our own destiny. Yes there is part of it mapped out, but you can't just sit around twiddling your thumbs waiting for it to happen!
For instance, I had a client years ago, who wanted a relationship and I saw her with a partner and in a loving relationship, and it was destined to happen... so what did she do... sit around waiting for him to knock on the door. Honestly you may think I am joking, but I am not, she worked from home and never went out she didn't like going out.
She never put herself in the situation to meet someone, and then suddenly she was dragged out by friends and she started to enjoy herself and soon it became a regular thing. Finally that man came along and swept her off her feet and she is so happy. She realized that she had to make things happen rather than sitting around waiting. If it's destined in life to happen it will... but if we don't help it along a little, then you could be sitting around waiting for a long time!
Right I had better get off there is so much to do and with the Psychic weekend next weekend and the Bodhi Tree book signing on sunday, it's crazy here!!!
Have a fun day and whatever you do SMILE!
Lisa xx

your new office sounds fab! and every good office needs wine glasses! you sound really happy!! congratulations on the move!
Have a wonderful weekend, hope both events go well. hugs xx
Hi, my love, I am so happy to hear that you are somewhat settled in to your office. It sounds wonderful! Lisa, you always seem to say the right things when we need to hear it the most. If you want something in life you have to go afteer it. Not just sit there and wait for it to happen.. That would be too easy now wouldn't it.
I am at work today just to buy some beautiful flowers in beautiful vases that we are selling for mothers day. I want to pick up some for my daughter who is a great mother to my two grandchildren.
Do enjoy your new space my love and a very Happy Mothers Day to you. I have to work that day but thats okay with me. Hope to see you in July here in Vegas.
Love ya lots, Mary
So true Lisa we shouldn't sit back and expect the world to come right in time. I think a lot of people expect that change will come from outside of them and look for heroes to make everything okay. We would do well to try out new ground now and then to expand our opportunities.

Hi Lisa. I know what you mean about getting busy. We just moved into a wee bit smaller condo and boy what a difference it made. yes smaller but we had WAY to much anyway and it felt good to have a good ol clean out and donate to the paws and claws here. Good luck in the move~ i know you will be looking in the wrong cupboard so here it is........ its in the other cupboard. :) Smiling at you... xo Debbie

Congrats on the new space. Enjoy! peace....deb t/illinois...smiling.
congrats on the new office sounds divine. Hope things are all going well for you :D
As ever, you are so spot on! So many people who get introduced to the Law of Attraction, the Secret, however you call it, think all they have to do is...[grimace] think reeeeeeeal hard and it will happen. Ah,no, it doesn't work like that!
Intention is part of it to be certain. But non-attached intention. Faith that it will happen, and then right action.. as you so wisely state - get up and LIVE. You'll be shown the next indicated step!
Look at you! New office space ! Perfect timing. Look at what is happening now......
Wow crazy, busy times but yes...you do have to put the hard work in !!!
Glad things are all falling into place !!!
Have a lovely weekend Lisa !!!
xoxo

Lisa,
Best wishes for a prosperous future in your new office. I loved the content of your blog today. You are so right. We have to get out there and make it happen. It won't come knocking at your door. We must help it along.
I am so incredibly excited to meet you Sunday at the book signing. I want a big hug. My mother (Sabina I Prisco) was a shining light in my life. What an appropriate day to have the honor of meeting you on Mother's Day. Maybe she will be at Bodhi Tree Book Store with us! Love ya.

I have always felt that there were two groups of people ... Those that let Life happen to them ... And Those that make Life happen. Both can provide great happiness. I just don't wait well :) so ... I tend to make Life happen!
Enjoy your new office!!!
A Tight Hug!

LOL Lisa this reminded me of the old joke about a man who wanted to win the lottery so badly... Every week he would pray to God to win and every week it did not happen... One day as he was praying God spoke and said............. John!!!!! Do me a favour and buy a ticket!
Of course life is not going to happen like that if we sit on our butts and don't do anything. You are a whirlwind lady! Congratulations <3 <3 <3

Hi Lisa,
You are right!! We can't expect to have things happen to us if we don't do anything to help it along (even just a little bit!) It reminds me of the old joke (fairly old anyway!) which is: An old man kept praying to God, "God, this is Saul, let me win the Lotto, I want so much to win the Lotto! Day after day, the man kept up the same prayer to God, "oh, God, please, please, let me win the Lotto, I need so much to win!" Finally, a loud booming voice was heard to say, "Saul, SAUL, meet me halfway, BUY A TICKET!!"
So, if we are to ever attain our hopes and dreams (short of an unexpected inheritance) we'd better get out there and do something to make it happen!! BUY A TICKET!!
Glad you have your new office to do even more fabulous things!! No one can EVER say that you didn't make your own amazing destiny!! Thank you for always being such an inspiration!!
Love and big hugs,
Cheryl
OMG!!!!! HAZEL!! I didn't even read your post!!! How embarrassing!!! Well, I guess great minds.....! What a RIOT!! Well, I have to go splash cold water on my face now!! WHOOPS!! I try not to read other's posts first before I do mine, because I want to be fresh, but WOW!! Right ABOVE MINE!! Okay, maybe I will change my M.O.!!
Hugs,
Cheryl
Hi Lisa, I have been inspired reading your blogs and your book has touched and hit home in so many ways that I hope to continue to break down the wall that has been a barrier that has me isolated into unhealthy patterns that stagnate me in many ways of moving forward. Well my first step as small as it may seem was taking theopportunity to have the chance to see you again after sharing an intimate moment in DE and being able to make the trip as short as was for me a first step in me moving forward. Your words, your healing hugs I received, all that I received are impossible to place a value on yet another life you touched. I have to write about the picture David took of you and I in Easton, there are two images (not orbs) in them, I am so touched. I hope the iron on transfers worked out! Take good care, Terry Truono.
At 3,000 miles away I will not be attending your book signing but I really enjoyed your book. I gave it to my sister as soon as I finished! Thank you for putting it out there.
