New Beginnings
Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 12:08AM Kev and I had a much needed day together in Beverly Hills. It was mostly all work but we did have to wait until later in the evening until we traveled back or we would just be stuck on the 405 trying to get home. so we made the most of the day. And for me it was great... he encouraged my shoe addiction and bought me a new pair!
But it was lovely. But we had a meeting about exciting new projects for my work, which is all very good and as soon as I can I will let you know, but one of which is coming on tour to other countries other than the US. We are looking at Scandinavia, UK and other European countries.
I am so excited... although they did ask me to learn Spanish and while I am not opposed to learning a new language, could you image if I got all my languages mixed up and suddenly I was giving the wrong information!!! On no! I would rather talk in my native language and then someone else could translate! So much easier!
They also mention French too... which is ok, and I know basic French from when I was taught it at school but again, it could be a nightmare... so for me, I need to stick to what I am good at and languages are not it!
It was so nice to be back in BH, we used to live there and in many ways we miss it, but now where we live it's quiet and out of the way, and so much calmer. I like to go in, but I also like to leave!
Kev and I had a lovely day together, while Mike and Jonesy had a great time with their god son and adopted doggies!
It's a new day tomorrow as I finally sign off on an office! Yes, I have given in and I have decided to get an office again so that I can have my house back!!! Something I have needed to do for a while... YAY!
Have a wonderful day and see you tomorrow!!

Congrats on the new office! and I am excited for you to tour the other countries for all our other LW fam to get to experience your shows (and get their infamous "Lisa Hug" of course! =P)... always the busy bee! and I bet they would be so appreciative as well!
How funny it would be if you shocked everyone with a bunch of random language skill... lol
My brain is lacking functioning tonight... =P
Sleep with Angels! <3
Hi Lisa,
I would imagine it would feel more natural and less inhibiting working in your own language (how fast could someone learn a new language comfortably on a high enough level anyway? Seems like a lot to ask!) Bev Hills is quite something, with so many beautiful stores and historical landmarks, I love it!
So, the old office address is no longer valid? I recently sent something to that address; will the P.O. (hopefully) forward? Then, will you be posting your new office address? We (the Extended Family) will be sending something to you in the next few weeks too.
Glad things are good! Sounds like you will be having even more fabulous times again soon!! Look out Europe!! They are going to go crazy!!
Bless you and your family!
Love,
Cheryl
It's always good to spend time with those we love even if it's in traffic jam on the 405!! BTW, made reservations for the cruise that starts on Halloween......so excited. Looking forward to seeing you and John Holland. Best Wishes.
Hi! Lisa, great to catch up again with your blog again...I'm back in Oz after a break in the UK. Still jet lagged!! So sorry to hear about your gran. Although we expect it...it still leaves a void. My gran passed away 9 years ago today + I believe it happened then so that she could be there for my dad..he passed 4 weeks after her!!! Such as life (or death!!) eh?? Anyway take care. love to you + the boys. Kate XXX
Hi Lisa xoxoxx Every woman should have a man in her life like Kev...one who feeds the addiction, heheheee, I can only imagine how many pairs of shoes you must have, not to mention suitcases, lol Addictions can be a good or a bad thing....I personally have 2 not so good addictions, oops, make that 3....food. Oh, make that 4, just thought of another one, grrrrr I seriously need to take back control of my life and be stronger than my addictions, easier said than done!
Your day with Kev, shopping, etc, sounds heavenly and I am glad you enjoyed it so much.
And happy for you that you are getting a office out of the house tho having it in house is much easier.
Off to bed now, tis 6:30am and I haven't been to bed yet...due to one of my addictioins, sigh...
Huggles

Hi Lisa,
I have so much to tell you but I will make it quick. I live in Newcastle in Australia and I would like to sincerely thank you. I entered a competition and won a signed copy of your book Life Among The Dead. Firstly I would like to send you a big hug back!!!! The only problem is I am sadly nearly finished reading it. By the way.... LOVED IT!!!! So much of your story rang true to me it was crazy. You even know where Lancashire is, thats where my Nanna was from. I feel so truly blessed to have made this simple but valuable connection with you. I would love to join your family however, because I live in oz I didnt know if I was able to. I would love to share my story with you and hear more of yours. You are a truly inspirational earth angel and lightworker. May all of your dreams and desires come true Lisa. You deserve the it!!
Bright blessings and hugs today and always.

Congrats on finding a new office space. Having my own business here in Australia I know how important it is to myself and my family to be able to separate our work life to our family life as much as we can.
As one of your Australian fans hope you can fit a trip back to Australia and visit South Australia as well. Cant wait to see you again.
Hope the family are all well
Big Hugs and Kiss

Oh the 405 sucks, and many a meal has been had in BH waiting for it to clear..... the office is a smart, smart, thing to do. You can close the door more easily when it is remote from where you live. And as your staff grows it will be less intrusive - they can go to the office and do their thing and you can be home having bagels if it's that kind of day.... good move, Lisa!
Français...excellent!...Si tu as besoin d'aide..fais-moi signe...:0)
It's MAY 6th----how about Messages from beyond? It is what you do_____
Hi Lisa!!!! Yeah, I agree some people are excellent at picking up or learning other languages easier than others. But, others just aren't like you and I!!! I also agree with getting a translator!!! Best of Luck with that!!! I'm glad you and Kev had a great time in BH!!! And that's wonderful that your getting a new office..........it's nice to separate your work and personal life. Much Love <3 <3 <3
I'm so happy that you're coming in France !!! ;-)) I also think that you should stick to English because it's more natural...
Congratulations on your office ;-))
Gros bisous ;-)
Lise
Hola Lisa! I'll be your spanish language translator! Yo hablo espanol I'm originally from Chile - Let me know if you need help! Chao!
Very Nice that your Moving ! Don't forget us up there in canada and you said you know a little of french don't forgive psychic in quebec :) we can all talk english hahahaha !
Yay! I'm so glad you have your own office away from home!! That's HUGE for you! I'm so glad. And I agree...even though I minored in Spanish in college, there's NO WAY I would feel competent to translate from Spirit to clients. NO WAY. Follow your gut....I say use the translator. ;) I am very excited to see what's in store for you. Yay, Lisa!
Take care!!
K
No offense to your worldly fans, but stick to English. Can't imagine messing up the message because of language. Learn the others gradually until you are comfortable, but you already have so many demands for your time...can't imagine why this would be so urgent.. Tell them I said said you don't have to, lol!! No matter what, you have to save time for shopping for shoes!!
