I create my reality
Monday, May 11, 2009 at 10:26PM Following on from yesterday I grabbed a T-shirt this morning and didn't realize it was Kev's one that didn't fit him... and it was one of the reflect my life T-shirts... OMG it said... "I create my reality"
I didn't think anything more about it, and I am very passionate about affirmations and I have been meditating with charlie and helping him be as positive as he can be... which is never always as easy as it sounds with a 9 year old. But I always believe in the power of thought and that you do create your own reality.
So when I really noticed I was wearing it, I was standing in my office opposite the stationary cupboard, which is Carolines baby and I read it... Then I looked around at what I had created over a 2 year period and it was incredible. and then the day continued to grow and grow with opportunities and new projects coming out of the woodwork!
It's amazing. Believing in yourself is the most important key factor in life. It doesn't matter what others think it's what you think and believe in. If I had listened to my family, I would have found a 'proper job' many years ago and I wouldn't be here writing to you. My father and brother are both skeptics but my father has said that I change lives (another T-shirt I have) and for that he is proud, but can't understand what I do!!! ha ha ha I just give up now trying to change his view and let him find out himself.
I have also realized that with this positive side to me, I have bought people together. My team, are amazing, I have sifted out all the negativity, it took me a while but it's finally happened, and I have a strong and amazing team, with great energy.
Like attracts like ... I say it all the time. It's so true. It's hard at the moment when so many people have lost their jobs and are financially are struggling. Many people think that they are the only ones, but they are not. It's all relative and we all cope differently. But try standing in the mirror and talking to yourself and saying something nice about yourself. It can be anything. if you are struggling to find something, how about starting with :
"I LOVE MYSELF!"
And mean it! It's often a hard one to do but you have to start to love yourself and believe in yourself and tell yourself what you are GOING to do not what you can't do!
Give it a go and try it for the next few days and see how you get on... you may surprise yourself and you too can create your own reality.
However, the only thing is, I am not sure when I am going to sleep now... ha ha ha
Anyway on that note I am heading to bed, I just finished part of the preparation for the Santa Monica Psychic Weekend, which I am so looking forward to teaching, and yes you get a whole weekend with me... prepare to have a laugh.

Was just having the conversation today about like attracts like.
That if you are different to the rest of your family that you have to be brave enough to be and live what you want to become. Some families members may not like it but you have to be true to yourself and what you want to achieve.
In saying that it is harder to be positive about yourself and much easier to encourage other people.
I will be positive for the next few days... I promise.

Lisa, your words are such an inspiration as I am in major transition with aligning to my life purpose and am learning how important it is to create the reality that I desire through positive thinking and affirmations. I am definitely going to have to buy some of those shirts!!
While I am here I have to tell you about my experience in being in one of your audiences recently. I watched your show religiously but hadn't yet had the opportunity to see you live before I Can Do It a couple of weeks ago. What an overall amazing weekend! When I came to your session on Saturday I came with the purpose of knowing if my grandfather who died before I was born was with me. I didn't have a relationship with my other living grandparents as a child and always believed if my grandfather was alive he would have been my perfect grand dad and loved me. :) When I was a teenager I found a bulletin for his funeral and to my surprise he was buried on my birthday 3 years before I was born!!! Crazy! To shorten this up a bit, anyone who knows me knows that I refuse to eat sweet peas! Yuke! I don't just dislike them, I hate them!!! Well guess what was the first story you told when you opened up your session? How you refused to eat sweet peas as a child because you saw a spirit tell you not to eat them or you would die and it turned out to be your grand father who also died 3 years before you were born who died choking on peas. I took that as a sign from my grandfather that he is with me cause I really hate sweet peas and he has to know that about me and he knew that story would catch my attention!!! LOL I love your work and can't believe your dad is still a sceptic after all this time!!! He'll come around. Thank you for all that you do and have a great week. SMOOCHES!! :)

All true as ever and a great thought for the day! I love the t-shirts!! If you're working with them could you suggest a children's range. I didn't order one, partly because I couldn't decide which one I needed (my usual decisive self!) and partly because Laura was sitting with me and she wanted one! :)

Your Blog today rings so true to my life. My husband and I worked on starting our
own business. It took us three year of different heardle that I was not prepared to
let it stop us from making our dream come true.
With different rejections we had my husband was ready to throw the towel in. He
lought at me every time that I told him possitve thinking attracked postive things.
There is a couple of people that keep trying to be in my life, that are negitive people. I try to keep them at a distance because I find that they drain me so much. I call them energy sucking vampires. Its probley not a nice thing to say because I dont think they mean to be like that and are just stuck in there ruts.
Its like the single mum sindrom with them. I feel like giving the a copy of your book Lisa, living amoung the dead to read and show them how far single mum can go with a little will power.

Thank you for sharing this. It's all true what you say. I feel I am surrounded by negative people at the moment and I get negativity thrown at me wether I deserve it or not. It's hard because I am a positive person and the few times I feel down, I feel REAL down. I wish I was a rude person and tell the negative people to get lost but I can't even do that. I know what I am capable of and I know my boundaries, I guess some people are jealous of it. Anyways, you rock, Lisa! I'm off to watch the Eurovision song contest... Love and light

Wow! my love, another great blog-as usual. You must be the most positive person alive. Even through all the hard things is life you come out ahead. Oh to have your energy and all the positive that you exude. No wonder you are loved by so many! I for one can't help but love you for who and what you are!
