Rain in the Rainforest!

Normally since we have been in Australia we have been getting up really early, however it was gone 9.30 today when we finally woke up! Great! :) I was so happy as I had been kept awake most of the night with Spirits and also my spirit guide showing me things I needed to get done over the next few weeks.... I mean its all well and good that they place these things on me, but would they like to give me a few more hours in the day to get them done! ha ha ha

Seriously... they are so funny. But joking aside it was great that they have given me tasks to do so I am happy about that and one of them is to finish the book off that I am working on and to also get the audio book out... I didn't know about the audio book until last night so as soon as they give me the info on it, you will be the first to know... or maybe that is something I have to work out myself... ha ha ha

But it's been an emotional day as it always is when I have had a night of spirit waking me up and then last night I spoke to mom about Nan who is getting weaker daily. So I had a moment of tears... but I needed it. I didn't realize how much was building up inside of me and how it was great to have that release.

Well we headed to Port Douglas, and stopped off on the way to visit Mossman Gorge. What a stunning place. We were in a rainforest and the best thing about it, it was raining. And when I say raining, it was pouring!!!!

But we had a great time and then came out by the natural spring falls where Charlie started to climb rock and be really brave, until he fell in. Which we knew would happen but he was ok. I didn't let him swim although others were as I could see the current picking up. As much as he is a strong swimmer I just didn't want to take the risk and there were some kids struggling. But he had fun all the same.

Then we headed to Port Douglas and poor Charlie had worked himself up all holiday about going snorkling. He really didn't want to go, he said he did and then he changed his mind. It was crazy. So we thought we would see what he was like when we got there and he didn't want to do it.

I mean you are in the beautiful place and you are so close to the Great Barrier Reef and what do we do... go back to the hotel.

We decided that we didn't want to do it, as it was raining and the sea was choppy and also Charlie wasn't feeling it and also... it just meant that we would have to come back!

I know it's disappointing but we just weren't feeling it, so we WILL be back!

I headed back to the hotel and had a great time, the kids were swimming in the pool while it was raining and I was chatting with one of the moms and it was just nice.

We are all so tired and we head back to Sydney for the last day tomorrow. I have to say, I am now looking forward to going home. I have loved every minute of being here, but I miss the dogs and the house and my bed! Also Mike, Jonesy and Caroline!

Next week is Charlie's birthday and we are going to be back in Easton that day... so we will have to sing Happy Birthday to him as he is coming with me, and so is Kev. But I am hoping to get some of his friends together for a party. Its a surprise, I know he has missed them.

Right i am heading off to pack and get ready for our trip and tonight, I am going to sleep!!!

Have a fun day!

Love

Lisa xxx

Count on me to bring this up first, about the Great Barrier Reef...lol I am sorry the day went as such that you didnt get to experience it. However, in my mind we were all there :) And there is always next time....*Is planning everything I wanna see for the next time YOU go...lol *
I am sorry about your Nan getting weaker, I am glad you got that cry, it helps to release what you have bottled up. I posted about our family dog being put down after 16 years with her, and I cried and felt better :). Granted, this is your nan we are talking about and its much harder when it comes to people that are about to pass it seems....
Your always in my thoughts Lisa, and you know we are here if you ever needed us. Sometimes in these matters it doesnt matter who is there, we have to deal with things on our own and in our own way, and no matter how we do that, the real heal comes with time !!!!
Hugs to you girl

Hey there Lisa,

Wow, Spirit has you working overtime but I am sur for a bigger purpose. I guess they don't understand time because it is man-made and non-existent in their dimension. It is exciting to know that you are working on your new book. I look forward to it as I am sure it will be filled with your wisdom. Audio books are cool and I have become accustom to them via iTunes. But I lstill ove hardcopy books too.

Aw... although I hate to hear that you were sad and emotional, it is really good that you had a good cry to release. You know what happens when you bottle all that stuff inside. It just makes you sick to your stomach and that is not good. So I know it is a painful release that is necessary as long as we are in the physical world. I am so sorry to hear about your Nan. My thoughts are with you and your family as I know it is a really tough time whether you are physically there or emotionally connected. Sending you giant comfort hugs!

No worries about not doing something. I am sure you will have other opportunities to see the Great Barrier Reef. You know better then most that you can't push this stuff. You will do it when you are supposed to do it.

Anyway, back to work for me! Wishing you, Kev, and Charlie a great day of fun! By the way, I love the pictures you posted on Twitter! Great fun and that Charlie is so adorable. He is getting to be a big boy!

Lots of Hugs,
DreamSpirit

I feel that I am talking in my head with and English accent, as I can hear it in your writing. How lovely! It is so wonderful that this has been such a pleasant vacation and the shows....getting to meet so many members, etc. I always love it when you tell us about the guides and spirtis messing around in your psych-ee (sp?). From the pictures I can see how tall Charlie is getting. Have a safe trip home.

Wow Lisa,
Thanks for the most descriptive blogs about Oz...And of course the lovely pics.
One thing I am so impressed with is your donation to the victims of the blaze's out there. It hurts us all when you see the disaster that fire can cause,
Be blessed Lisa, and all your angels.
Thanks for your continuing spiritual strength.

Lisa, I am so glad you've enjoyed out beautiful country. It really does have so much to offer and quite often, we who live here take it for granted. I have really enjoyed your journey via your blog and am thrilled that you intend returning. I for one look forward to you coming back in September(?). Hoping that perhaps you might include Canberra this time - if not, I am sure to travel to Sydney to see you again.

Have a safe trip back home and a very happy birthday to Charlie. Love Rosalie

Hi Lisa,

It's been wonderful to follow your adventures whilst your being in our beautiful country Australia. I hope that you enjoyed your down time in Cairns.

What naughty spirits to keep you up through the night. Would it make a difference if you wear a bed hat to bed lol.. Oh that sounds silly especially in Australia as it is so hot, just a thought :)

I look forward when you return again!

Safe traveling to you & your family.
