Holiday!!
Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 04:04AM So were now in Cairns, well Palm Cove to be precise and what a place.
It's just beautiful.
It's only a quick one as I have no internet at the moment but I
promise I'll post a good blog and pictures tomorrow.
It's been such a great relaxing day. I am telling you this he the best
way to finish off a holiday. I love it, however I am missing home!
But have a lazy Sunday and for us it's Monday. I'm working on the
cover of my book for the UK and Australia!!!

Hi Lisa: Glad to know you are enjoying Australia. It is a beautiful country isn't it? You should try to spend a day or two at the Gold Coast, which is south of Cairns. You will be amazed at the beauty there. Enjoy your holiday. We miss you here at home.

I know you would be having an amazing time in Cairns. It is SO green and lush isn't it?! If you have time, you can take a short "old world" train trip up the mountain to Kuranda (my brother lives there), which is stunningly beautiful! There is a fantastic market up there & great shopping. The train trip takes you through places of breathtaking scenery and some of the seats are actually positioned sideways, so you can face the scenery all the way up the mountain. It's a gorgous little train and is actually the original one built by the settlers in the area. It's a really nice trip - recommended.
Just found out my sister is ordering your book for me for my birthday (isn't she nice!), so I'm very excited! can't wait to read it!
Enjoy your time in Far North Queensland, you deserve the break.

It's great to hear that you're having a fun time! No matter how beautiful a place is, i can understand the feeling of missing your own home?..nothing like your own bed!!!
