Sydney's First Show!
Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 08:02AM Well last night I went out for a meal at the Shangri-la and as many of you know I hate and detest Peas… yes I know it’s funny but I actually have a phobia about them. Well I ordered a lovely meal and it had Peas on it so I asked the headwaiter, Tim, if he would be able to tell the chef, and not put peas on it.
Of course everyone laughs about my Pea phobia, and it is funny, but when I saw the plate come out and there were little tiny green balls on my plate, I freaked!!! Thankfully the plate never came near me, I would have frozen but I sent it away. Time could actually see what happened and apologized and then told me a story, about his dog Barney.
Every day the family used to scrap off the leftovers from dinner into Barneys bowl and he would eat absolutely everything except the peas he wouldn’t touch them… he hated them! It was so funny; I was surprised to hear that he had a thing about Peas too!!! Ha ha ha
So today because Tim was so nice I had to give him a shout out on the Kerri-Anne Show, as he loved Kerri-Anne.
It’s been a great trip and it’s coming to the end, in Sydney. We have one more show to go. But tonight’s so was great. I loved it. And the theater was amazing!!! So intimate and warm and cozy. I hope everyone enjoyed it. I had a great time. All the spirits were fun, but we had serious moments. There were laughter and tears too.
I stayed afterwards to meet everyone who waited, and that is one of the best parts of the evening except for the show, as I get to meet everyone who has supported me and it’s nice and to grab a hug.
So one more day and I have a day of press again, and that is it, I will be officially on holiday after tomorrow night’s show!!! Whoo hoo!!!
Righty ho! Off to bed!
Have a lovely day!
Lisa xx

Go Lisa! You and your blinkin' peas!!!!! xxxx
Lisa, thank you for tonight's show. It was fabulous. The theatre was indeed intimate, perfect size. Firstly I would like to thank you and your family sincerely, for your generous donation to the Bush Fire Appeal. I know it is greatly appreciated by every Aussie. Secondly for taking the time to chat to us, take a few pictures and autograph photos. It meant a lot. It was a truly memorable evening. I hope to see you back in Oz soon.
Cheers,
Jamie.
Hi Lisa! So happy things are going well for you in Australia! You are just way too cute. Nothing wrong with a pea phobia, everyone has their phobias for different things. It may sound funny, but rest assured, we are not laughing at you! Mostly it's the way it sounds and how you put things. Hurry back to the U.S. But I know this is one trip you will never forget. So glad Kev and Charlie came along also! We love you so much and you're just the best in the world!! Much love and hugs, Natalie/freespirit
Oh no, not the PEAS again! :)
Are you going to see the Great Barrier Reef while
you're there? Swim with the fishes?
Have a restful holiday!
Dear Lisa,
Sounds like you dont get much rest, but when you're having fun, Who needs to rest!
Have a beautiful day. We miss you here back in the states.
Take care and have a wonderful Holiday.
I am with you on the peas thing. I cannot stand them either.
Lots of love to you, Charlie and Kev.
LOL...what is it with those peas? I hope the rest of your trip is pea-free..:) ~PJ
so glad to hear your trip is going well Lisa....you made me smile about the pea story....if it makes you feel any better my husband has a colleague who cant stand the sight of peas or anything else that is small and round i believe...it can only come from a past life experience dont you think??? Anyway i guess you are not alone!! hugs xx
Hey Lsa,
Aw... ! It's not funny and I don't know why people laugh at your phobia. For you, it is a terrifying moment and someone should be comforting you instead of laughing. Just my personal take on it. Maybe I am oversensitive when it comes to phobias. Aw... Tim's story about Barney is so cute. What are the chances of Barney having the same adversity to peas??
Sounds like it was a wonderful show. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Big Hugs,
DS
hi lisa
what a wonderful show you gave us last night. You poor thing you looked so tired after it. I just wanted to tell you how fabulous you looked, your outfit was beautiful, and i loved your shoes!!!!... ca'nt wait till you come out again....
Lisa, you are soooo incredibly generous to give your tour proceeds to the Bushfire Appeal. Thank you for an amazingly insightful and uplifting show last night.
How about we make a deal and have you back again for a longer tour (with more relaxo time here afterwards/beforehand) and you KEEP all the money you make from us?!
We will support and love you til the cows come home, so please return here sooner rather than later - we will all be waiting with love and light to welcome you back to our shores, I'm sure!
xx

Hi Lisa.
Thanks for the most energised show last night!!Yes there was tears and laughter but mostly laughter!!Loved your outfit and your sparkly shoes even tho I visualised you wearing red & white but the rug was red and the tablecloth was white so I was nearly there lol.It was a beautiful gesture also to give the people who you gave a reading too a single rose!! it was so sweet.!!
I loved the reading where the man in spirit always jingled coins in his pocket and read the paper doing the crossword puzzle and as he was leaving you imitated him jingling coins, whistling and putting on his hat!!
My daughter Christina is still over the moon when you said to her at the meet and greet" Oh my God do you have a twin in LA? which I captured on video for her and from a slight distance you then looked at me and said "You are her Mum come over here" amoment I will never forget!!
Had to laugh also when I gave you a big strong hug from the girls whose names are below and you said WOW and I am really excited too that you liked the crystal pendant from myself,Christina,Staceyab,Kerrin,Saraj,PatS & Brooke and a few others who constantly folllow as we chat about you in the Chat Room 24/7 lol!!
Not only did I see the showand meet you I also got an extra hug I will have the memory of that forever. You are the most genuine caring charismatic person I have ever met!!
Have a safe flight home and a big kiss to Charlie and a hug to Kev!! See you in September!!!

Hi Lisa! Also have alot of negativity toward peas. Its not a phobia as much as it is that i just can't stand the taste of them. Glad you're enjoying Australia. I have a lot of family there so if you don't get to travel to South Africa, at least they could meet you next time you're there. However i always end my posts with a hope that you would decide to travel to South Africa. I don't think i need to convince you that it's a truly beautiful country to visit.
God bless and lots of love from
Narisha (SOUTH AFRICA)
My is Linda so you can imagine the shock I had when last night the first word out of your mouth when you started reading was my name I nearly fell off the chair, I didnt put my hand up,as the rest of the discription didnt relate to me, but you went on to read for someone else and never mentioned my name again but I can tell you I dont think I stopped shaking for at least 15mins. :)
Last nights Show Lisa was great, and we absolutely loved the theatre it was perfect. Your family are beautiful and it was a great honour to meet them.

Hi Lisa,
Great to see you last night. I'm a massive fan and have been for a while but thought a few things were a little disappointing. I understand a lot of people that come through are there for everyone to witness, my wife has struggled massively with issue's around death and afterlife and was seeking some validation, and while the show was nice and light hearted in general it failed to really get past a lot of trivial elements people’s lives. It was great for those that got readings, and for those that didn't probably had to endure for quite some time hearing about people on the otherside just saying hi. Where was the contact for those people truly in need? Those struggling to cope on a daily basis. I totally understand you cannot control what happens, I guess having your tv show (series 1) so emotional and tear jerking to see the live show it there was a big difference, and left us a little wanting.
This isn't a criticism your work just an observation of big fan of yours.
Hello Lisa,
I attended your first show in Sydney tonight & had the most enjoyable & entertaining time. You looked stunning. It was great to see Kev & Charlie, What a handsome pair, no wonder you are so proud of your family. I had a great big hug from you at the end of the show & you were so generous with your time , signing my book & the lovely photo of you & allowing a photograph of us to be taken, then another photo with my son Jason & daughter in law Kelly. A big thank you to the gent who was with you who took the photo of us with my camera, another generous gesture. I wish all that is wonderful for you & your family. Enjoy the rest of your stay in Australia, looking forward to your return. Have a safe trip home.
Cheers for now.

Dear Lisa,
Wow! Thank you for such an amazing experience last night on the show. Loved the shoes!
We were the mother and daughters two rows from the front that you connnected with our son and brother (the little boy) We knew immediately it was him , the skateboard was a secret between him and his sister... so great you picked that one up.
The photos and everything was spot on! we are only disappointed about one thing...where were our Lisa hugs?!

Hi Lisa, I like peas but I don't have them alot because their more of a starch then a veggie. My pup can't have them because he's allergic to them. Anywho, I'm glad you had a great show and enjoy the next show. And finally enjoy the rest of Australia!!! Much Love to you and everyone <3 <3 <3

The second message read out at the end of the event was very personal to me. My mother was called Joan and she did pass early in life. I feel privileged that this message was read out and take comfort in knowing my mother is with me on my own life journey. I am happy to claim this message from beyond as my own !! I will indeed say hi to my sister....
Thank you Lisa for a night that was enlightening and so much FUN!. I look forward to seeing you again when you return to Australia next time.
Enjoy your holiday and this great country.
Andrew
