Fun in Bakersfield
Friday, March 6, 2009 at 12:19AM First thing this morning I woke up (4am) and headed straight to a tv
interview, trust me to forget my shoes!!! Fortunately I had my Spain
bag in the car with shoes in... I was wearing my ugg boots, which
certainly don't look attractive on tv!!!
It was far too early to be thinking about what shoes I want to wear
and what would look good with my outfit!!
I headed straight back to bed after the interview and I am so thankful
that I have forced myself to do that. I used to be that person who
once up... I was up but not anymore, I grab sleep when I can!
I woke up and had lunch with friends and then headed to the show.
It was a great night with some great readings and the last one, very
emotional but I am so glad that she got the reading.
You know I do this work. I didn't choose to do it, it chose me and I
am so thankful for it. We all have choices in life and when we make
choices we often think about others, how they will react. So people
support us others don't. But we all have a choice about what we do and
no one has the right to judge us!!! If we believe we are doing things
the right way then so be it!
This was sparked by something I watched on tv today and I got really
annoyed with the way the host treated the guest!!!! Grrrrrr
Anyway have fun I'm on my way to Fresno and then back to Lancaster for
the show tomorrow night!!!!

You´re so clever, I totally agree with you when it comes to ones choices in life.Sadly it is becuase one think about what other people will think when you´re about to do some changes that people does not.Eventhough it could be for ones best.One only lives ones (or??) so make the most of it.

I think the most important thing is feelling good with our choices...but it's unpleasant when people try to impose to the others their own pt of view and don't respect the others. Grrrr
World need some precious people like you... You're helping a lot of people and ... WoW!! The only word I have in my head is GRATITUDE about all the work you're doing for people..

Wow, you said it Sister! If someone really wants to be on my big time sh*t list, let them place judgement on others that have no choice and are just different. This is a real sore spot for me too. I will not tolerate that kind of ignorant behavior in my life so I am with you on the grrrrrrrr. There were people in my life (no longer) that actually had the nerve to say to me that I chose to be a gay woman because men stink or I must have been hurt by a man or you have not met Mr. Right one or I had a bad relationship with Dad. So when I responded to them and said actually no I really enjoy the company of men and can still recognize a good looking guy but I am just not attracted to them like you are and my Dad was actually my very best friend. They were just speechless and really didn't know what to say to me. I mean people just jump to these conclusions as if you are some sort of robot with 1 program available. I know that you have been down this road with your work and being able to see spirits. You are so right, you didn't have a choice and look how many lives you touched. Thank God you never listened to anyone and did the work you were meant to do. What a waste that would have been? So rock on sister and always stay true to yourself because the rest is just noise...

I agree with you girl....and I wanna be witchy woooooooooo..........lol. YOU are doing the RIGHT thing. People will judge regardless, and thats life. I think it's that close-mindedness is people that use to bug me to no end. However, the way I have learned to see it, is it takes all kinds to make the world go round, and I even feel sorry for those that cant see outside the box so to speak. Wether it be out of fear or stubbornness.....
Anyway, as far as them shoes you wore in the interveiw....lmao....are they going to be showing your feet ?

Attended last night's show in Bakersfield, and I'm working on getting some skeptical friends to your Fresno show. Lisa, not only was your show wonderful last night, but you look fabulous!!!! Congrats on the weight loss!! It must be a huge challlenge trying to eat right when you're traveling so much.

The shoe thing made me smile. I've worn two different shoes to work before. I was so embarrassed - until I realized I was the comic relief for the day!

I was not able to go to your show last night in Bakersfield, however my mom was there and I just want to say thank you so much for letting her know that my dad (Mike) and my daughter are together and doing fine I know that from what you told her last night that she is going to change the way she has been living the last 8 months. I believe that I will finally get my mom back, she called me at 1 this morning to tell me everything that you said she was so exciteed! I am so glad that she was able to attened and you were able to give her that very emotional reading I dont think I can thank you enough for what you did you not only changed her life but you have changed mine as well just knowing that my baby is being taken care of by my dad I knew that they were together but you have confirmed it for me again thank you thank you thank you

First, I have been a fan forever. Last night I drove 75 miles, to Bakersfield to see YOU, and stayed overnight.
I think you are gifted and very spiritual, HOWEVER, last night I was totally disappointed.
I didnt expect a reading, (although I would have loved one), but I didnt expect you to only do 7 readings in three hours. Too much time, in my opinion, was spent on one person. You gave those people their monies worth, but seemed to forget their were alot of others who could have used your gift.
I will always admire you for what you do, but just thought you should hear from someone who felt last nights performance disappointing. Hugs

Lisa, my girlfriend and I traveled from Phoenix to see you last night in Bakersfield (part of the "red shirts in the front"). Enjoyed the show TREMENDOUSLY. Almost splurged & went to the Lancaster show tonight! Ha! Your work is amazing and sincerely helps so many people that are hurting.
