Busy Day!

Well the boys woke up with ... yes the hang over that we were all expecting. Our friend had to get one a flight but the other boys, slowly got up and then slowly crawled back to bed again, vowing that they would never drink again! Bless them, I suppose it didn't help as I drove them back, that rolled them around the canyon roads, shaking all the alcohol that they had consumed that night. Never mind, they will learn!! ha ha ha

So today was spent with the girls in the office and going over the new changes. Caroline and I had so many ideas of what we wanted to do but couldn't do any of it with out Jonesy being able to use her expertise to help us, and now she is here, we are all raring to go. We are having new T-shirts printed, membership cards, candles, you name it we have thought about it... Ohhhh I am so excited! We listen to everything that you suggest.

It's so fulfilling that we as a team can help so many in their healing process.

Kev has been working on the itinerary for Australia too. He is working out where we are planning on going and what we want to do. We are taking 2 weeks off as a family vacation and then 1 week working. I can't wait. I think mom is a bit jealous about the trip and I have promised her I will take her, as she has a friend out there who she hasn't seen for over 20 years.

SO we are all very excited!

I heard from my dad today, about my Nan and it seems that she is in good spirits, but still in the hospital, and they are going to scan her and they are dreading what they will find and how they are going to deal with it. I am so relieved that I am going over there on Sunday to help and support them. I have asked Charlie to makeup a package of things that he wants to show Nan and also some pictures that we can print off so that she can have them with her and cheer her up. She is 87 and I don't think I have ever really seen her be sick, but I have been told I am going to be shocked, but I am prepared for that.

It's always hard and I get asked my advice all the time on what to say to people and how to handle things. My family have also done that, and my dad did just that today. Somehow I am able to switch into a different mode and detach, which is good as I know dad is going to need someone to lean on, as it is going to stir up old emotions for my mom too. Although you have never met anyone as tough as my mother!!!

I will of course let you all know how she gets on as I have had so many emails about her, sending her healing and so on. Thank you so much.

Have a beautiful smiley day!

Lisa xx

Hi Lisa. I'm looking forward to seeing you when you come to Australia. I hope you and your family really enjoy your time here. When you are in Victoria, maybe you can go to the wildlife park in Ballarat. You can get up close with a lot of our native animals.

Dear Lisa
I love reading your blog, and watching your TV programme. There is such a refreshing simplicity about your personality that it is very healing, and yet at the same time you work with the profound and with the suffering in everyday life. I am a fan of who you are.
Love and Peace

The Oz trip sounds exciting. Enjoy your vacation!!! You certainly deserve family time.

The drinking.....can't relate anymore thank goodness! Too many alcoholics in my history; I stay away from it all at all costs.......destructive.

Lisa, You know you cracked me up with the 3 drunken men blog. I also caught your twitter and had a good laugh. Those canyon roads must have knocked those boys out.. I bet you tried really hard not to make the car shake too much during your road trip because your felt sorry for them... right. LOL I nearly spit out my coffee when I read that first paragraph. You are so funny girl. I love it!

On a more serious note, please know that your Nan and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is a really tough time. I would rather tell you here on your blog because I am sure you are so overwhelmed with e-mails. Just prepare yourself because I sense it will be hard on you. It sounds like you are the strong one but please know that we are all here for you on LW site. If you get overwhelmed, just take a breather and pop onto the site even if you need to just chill, laugh, or simply vent. You will certainly need your trip to Australia. I am glad Kev is making some fun plans for you so you have something to look forward to after this trip.

Keep up your great humor!

Love ~n~ Light,

Hi my love, I guess boys will be boys when it comes to drinking! Will they ever learn?! i AM SO GLAD THAT YOU ARE ADDING MORE THINGS TO the store. Can't wait to see what there is to buy.
I am thrilled that you will be seeing your nan in a few days. Do stay strong my love, and do not be too surprised by what you see! If you need some quiet time away you can always come back to us and blog. Don't forget we are here for you.
It would be great to have your mum come with you to Australia! I am sure she would love it.
Well, my love, have a safe trip over and the three of you have a great vacation! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Love ya always, Mary

Lisa,
I love the postivity in your voice... I know I hate hearing the part " your going to be shocked"....sometimes even preparing for it really doesnt help. You are such a strong person though and I am glad you are going to be there for your family, and be the strength they need. I wish I could go back to a place in time, where all my loved ones were still around, but that would put me at a very early age..lol.
You know, with John being nuclear med doc, he reads the scans all the time (cancers), and you would be surprised at the miricles that happen. It also does wonders knowing you have family and friends around you. I know seeing you, Charlie and Kev, will brighten things up for everyone there.
I am sending my thoughts and prayers to you and your family (nan and all), and a huge hug to go with it.
Oh, and about those curves around that canyon with the drunk men...lmao..that is hysterical *makes note to do that when I am designated driver*.
Hugs girl
to you and your entire family here and overseas

Yeah it is hard to confront your parents/grandparents mortality even when they are so aged. My Dad recently passed, and even though he was a ripe old 86 with many 'conditions' it was hard to let go. Is hard to let go. But love is letting go when it is time. He deserved to be able to move on, and release his illnesses. He came to me in a dream a few days ago, and he is adjusting to his changes. My aunt who passed several years ago brought him to me, and it was good to see her again as well. While it is never easy, as you know, it is part of life's Rhythm.

Lisa ~ I hope that you have a wonderful time visiting your Nan and family.
Looking forward to seeing all of the new goodies that you and the gals are coming up with! I would love it if you offered meditations/courses on CD form....that way when the 'puter acts up, we'd still be able to use the product :) ~PJ

Hi Lisa xoxo I am really happy that you will be going to see your Nan and can just imagine all the love and hugs going around. Lisa, even tho you THINK you are prepared to see her sickly, chances are that it will still be a huge shock to you as you only remember her as more vibrant and healthy. I have this feeling you will be shattered when you do see her and the condition she is in. Please know I am sending you strength and lots of love to get thru this. I know how much you love your Nan.
Even tho you are able to "detach" I think is much different when it comes to one of your own loved ones.
RFLOL at the boys, that will teach them to drink! I would've been laughin driving around the curves and hills tho would have worried they would get sick.
How wonderful that we now have new tshirts, yippeeeeeeeeeeee can't wait to see them!!!
Lisa, have a wonderful time on your family vacation...I know you will. Many of my friends from another site will be coming to your show:)

HI Lisa,
3 drunk men! Sounds like a song. LOL Been there, done that and have learned my lesson with al-key-hall. :-) One or maybe two drinks at special occasions is all.

I've been keeping up with your twitter posts too. Thanks for sharing all of your life with us. I'm sending my thoughts and prayers to your nan and family over in the UK. Have a safe trip!
