Where did Tuesday Go?

We arrived in Sydney!!! Whoohoo

Whilst airborne, I waved hello to Tuesday and goodbye to Tuesday. I have lost a day that I will never get back... crazy really. I must admit the airline that we flew with were incredible. V Australia... amazing, Go Richard Branson! I am a huge fan on Virgin Atlantic and fly with them, when ever I can so I am really impressed and it was so comfortable that it made the time fly by (no pun intended!)

After a 13 and a half hour flight we landed in Sydney. We whizzed through customs and everything else that you have to queue for to get out of the airport in record time, so much so where we had to wait half hour before out car came to collect us, as we were early! What a great feeling to be here.

It's something I never thought would happen, and a place I would dream about with my mom but I honestly never thought I would get to be here. We are all so excited!

We headed to bed for a while and I opened my eyes to find that Kev and charlie were up and raring to go... me, my bed was hugging me so tight it was impossible to move, so they headed out without me to see what was around. Meanwhile I forced myself up and started to unpack. I have so much press to do that I had to bring a whole variety of clothes where I wouldn't normally pack that much but I did.

Tonight we headed and walked along the quay side opposite the maritime museum. It was buzzing and everyone was so nice. No false people just genuinely nice.  We were only out for a about an hour but as time dragged on for us all because of the jetlag Charlie started to fall asleep on the table. It was then time to head back.

A very tired little boy!

I am heading off for a day of press tomorrow which will be fun and the boys are heading to the Maritime Museum and the wildlife center.

I spoke to Mom today to find out about Nan and she said that they should get the results back today and she would let me know, but they forced her to get out of bed. I had been asking while I was there if she wanted to get in a chair and I would wheel her outside but she has refused and the nurses have been asking the same. Monday they forced her and she didn't react well to it. She is refusing to move and also eat. So I will let you know and thank you for keeping her in your prayers!

Right, my boys are asleep and it's time for me to relax and look forward to my day tomorrow.

See you on telly tomorrow morning if you are in Australia, I'm on Sunrise in the morning!!!

Have a lovely day

Hugs

Lisa xx

G'mornin Lisa, Kev & Charlie! Have a fantastic time in Australia! You will notice a huge change as you travel from tate to state as each state has so many different sights etc to see.... The one thing that took me a long time to get used to inAussie was there was no green grass from mid spring to mid autumn (fall)... Thats why they call it the sunburnt country!!! It gets so hot there.. especially in Western Australia.... Have a great time and hopefully Mel and Koshie will take good care of you! I am sure Kev and Charlie will love the sightseeing while you are participating in your media engagements.... Have a great & enjoyable time!! hugzzz

Hi Lisa
Hope you have a wonderful time in Australia. Do you think you could put South Africa on your list for a visit. The main cities here are Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, i live in the latter.
Origionally from the UK i came here in 1980, most of my family live in Worcestershire ( your home town i see).

I'm off to Oz in September, my hubby is going to a surgical congress in Adelaide, so really looking forward to it. Wish i could fly V, but doesn't do the route from SA .

I love the photos. Charlie is adorable as he usually is...and I like the hair color. First time to see the results! Have a great time with the press. Our sisters in Australia must be besides themselves with joy.

Have a wonderful time in Australia. I'm wondering something: Where do you think the spirit goes when a person is brain dead and on life support? Is the person alive or dead?
I'm curious as to whether you've encountered such a situation and what you felt at the time.
