Fun!
Friday, February 27, 2009 at 11:32AM am SO excited!!! My show 'Voices from the Otherside' is launching in the UK tomorrow!!! Whoohoo!!! It's on Sky Real Lives. I am still very connected to the UK and I do miss home so this is a big deal for me. And I am leading in for Derek Acorah. They are hosting Psychic Fridays. Its such an honor to be part of this. I'm just so glad I have not lost my ties to the UK.
Tomorrow is also another big show for me, in California, I am at Club Nokia which is a big deal for me and I am so excited. It's not one of regular shows and what I mean by that is that it's promoted by someone else, but I have asked Mills Entertainments to come in and help and they are such a great team that they agreed. I am quite nervous about tomorrow as all my friends are coming to see me, and people have flown in to see me also. So it's going to be an amazing night!
However, I have to say that there will be no 'usual' meet and greet which I am a little saddened by (Ticketed VIP meet and greet is going ahead) however, members there is a special notice about this in the 'latte lounge' so check this out!!!! But it's still going to be a fun show, I can't wait!
Anyway, today was a lovely day, I had lunch with the girls. 5 spiritual women sitting around the table enjoying each others company. I am sure I was the loudest of the group (hmmm I can't imagine that). My acupuncturist was there and she only ever sees me, and I lie on the table and snore... but today she saw the real side of me, and was laughing at some of my stories... she has now seen a different side to me.
We all have different sides to us, I can be very serious and boring sometimes, sometimes too serious, and I have to nudge myself to lighten up... and then I have my singing head on at other times where I annoy anyone in the house, as I sing sentences, and make people listen. Kev just rolls his eyes and Charlie shuts himself away in his room. Then I have my stupid head on... on and then you just have to get ready to roll around on the floor in laughter. I can be so stupid and I do silly things that are normal to me but everyone else just laughs... I am sure I should be in comedy sometimes, instead of communicating with spirits... mind you, the spirits are hilarious at times too.
Thinking about that the most important thing to have in my line of work is humor, because if I didn't have that, I would probably be where there are... taking on all the issues past and present with people and their energies! So it's been a fun day, and it's not over yet!
Right I am off to join the guys downstairs as I can hear them getting louder and louder, and laughing and I want to be part of it (I always think I am missing something!)
Have lots of fun and laugh today... ok!!!

Lisa, I think you are so right! Sense of humor allows us to do our spiritual work better. It is such a misconception that psychics and spiritual folk are always serious. I have seen just the opposite! We intuitives, mediums, spiritual teachers spend a great deal of time laughing at ourselves and those on the other side.

LIFE CAN BE VERY SERIOUS AT TIMES, I KNOW THAT EMOTIONS CAN DEFINEATELY GET IN THE WAY OF THINKING. AT TIMES I FIND THAT I AM THE HARDEST ON MYSELF-FROM WHAT I HAVE READ, YOU SEEM TO DO THE SAME AT TIMES. WHEN I HEAR ABOUT HOW YOU USED TO LIE TO PEOPLE AND TELL THEM YOU WERE A HAIR DRESSER, I THINK YOU WERE LYING TO YOURSELF AT TIMES. ANYWAY GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SHOW AT THE NOKIA. Hi Lisa.I just joined your "family". :-) I live in Stockholm,Sweden and I use to watch our show here.I wish I ever will get a chance to meet you.I believe in the spiritual world but there are so many false people calling themselves mediums.I have unfourtunetly lost a few loved ones and if my biggest dream ever comes true I will meet you and meet them again. My Cousin and I came to the Nokia show and we met you at the meet and greet, my cousin had wanted to meet you before and had not had a chance, she was greatly impressed by your energy and love you offered her in just one meeting…. Soooo… I was the girl hysterical in the audience when Richard/Ricky "the cocky guy with the hat" brought my Grandmother in for my cousin. I have to say I have been drawn to you the past couple years and I am so grateful that you could help both my cousin and I with your reading that night. My cousin "Jennifer" her mother is terrible sick and she wasn’t very close with my grandmother "the rock of the family" so when I saw you where coming to LA my friend bought us 2 amazing tickets to help her see that she is going to be ok "no matter what" and you did just that, as well as helped me to believe in myself more... Long story.. LOL
I wanted to just thank you for this wonderful gift, Jennifer's mother was so excited for her and that Grandma came though as well... Jennifer is soooo happy and had a blast... All thought... The song the rose was for me, when I was a kid I played that song over and over again Gram was always in the other room, that song gave me a lot of inspiration throughout the years, it was very sweet that you sang it and it sounded wonderful coming from you too :)
I want to apologize for being mad at Rich, its just it was Jennifer's night.. not mine - I was a little (well a lot) mean towards him... I hope someday to go to another show or have a private session with you regarding him....

I loved your two series of "Life Among The Dead" they were shown here in the UK on "Home & Health" and "DMAX". I'm glad to see your new series "Voices From The Other Side" is now showing on Sky Real Lives. Hopefully with the new series being on before Derek Acorah in the schedule on Friday nights it will introduce more people to your mediumship in the UK.
