Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 12:04PM I am so sorry I have not blogged over the last few days, I felt well and truly pooped! I have been fighting this bad cold which totally wiped me out and actually Charlie put me to bed last night before he went and made sure I was tucked up safe and sound. I never got up until I heard Max barking because he had been put in his crate! And that was 10am so I slept for over 13 hours!!! Bliss!
I know many of you have asked about my Nan, and I wanted to update you and she is not in hospital and being looked after. She has never been in hospital so this is a BIG thing for her, but she tells me she is on the mend. Either way I am heading out there before I go to Australia. i have a window of 6 days and it's not like I can't work, because I can but I just want to check that everyone is ok.
Talking of Australia.... I wanted to let you know what is being planned. We are doing a maximum of 3 show, Melbourne and two shows in Sydney (I think, it will be confirmed this week) and then we are looking at a larger tour later in the year for the release of my book. We are coming out for a family holiday so it's going to be a lot of pleasure and a little work.
We didn't feel it was the right time to come to Australia, because of the sadness that has come about with the awful bush fires. But as it had been planned for several months, and the bad timing we figured that we should do the shows that had been planned. However I didn't want people to think that I was going to be doing these shows in bad taste since there had been so much devastation and destruction in the Melbourne area and so many people had lost their homes, belongings and family.
So we have decided that my fee, from the possible 3 shows that I will be doing in Melbourne and Sydney will be donated to the bush fire victims, to help rebuild homes and their communities. I will give you as many details as I can at a later date, but I wanted you to know what my plan is.
Raising money for charity is very close to our hearts and anyone who has followed my blog will know that I raised money for Childhelp and also a village in South Africa last year doing a bike ride. We sponsor 2 children in a township in South Africa. I feel so fortunate that I am able to do this.
This year I am focusing 2 other events. My DP for my show (Director of Photography) who some of you met at the recent shows, is doing the "AIDS Lifecycle" and is planning to cycle 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 7 days. I plan to help him raise money for this event. I have promised him that whatever he raises I will match this.... He is hoping to raise $10K. All details will be on my site soon.
And the other Charity is going to be my live events in Australia for the bush fires. So if you live in australia and want to help then this is a perfect opportunity!
Help those who need it, can be so rewarding, and I never really understood this until I started doing it, but it makes me feel like I am helping in some way to help a person and that is the main thing. I don't want praise or any recognition but what I do want is support in doing so... it's about pulling together and helping each other!

What a fantastic gesture - all Australia is behind the Victorians who have lost their love ones and their homes.
It would be amazing if you could possible connect with those whom have passed in such a trumatic way to let there loved ones know that they are in a happy place and that they are and all ways will be with them ( just another angel on there shoulder).
I think the Pain of the survivers is of the way friends, family and chidren were so viciously taken from them. It broke all our hearts those days of hearing of the death toll .
I hope and prey that they have passed over and if not could you please help those still confused of what has happened<I feel alot are stilll wondering around in spirit dazed and still not knowing of what has happened....................it was so hurtful, it hurt and they are in shock.please help them..

Your tickets must have sold like hot-cakes, and unfortunately I've missed out on seeing you, so I too would love a private reading. Just in case, I've entered the competitions and fingers crossed some tickets will come our way.

Im a member of your extended family and was wondering if even though I dont have a ticket to your shows would I still be able to come afterwards with my membership card for the meet and greet?
Sorry, I know that sounds a bit cheeky but I would do anything to get the chance to see you live- I know you dont get to talk to everyone but my mum died a few years ago and it would mean the world to be in the audience incase she came to visit....

I could not believe it when I heard you were coming down unda!! I think it's fantastic and such a generous gesture to help out the families who have lost everything due to the fires. Well......yeah I missed out on tix to your show, but am hoping desperately that you will either do another Sydney show or will come back down unda with another tour. Would love to have a private reading with you. Hope we don't wear you out, as I can see a few of us have missed out on tickets.

I cannot tell you how excited my husband and I are that you are coming to Melbourne. We always watch your show Saturday night, no matter what we have on and are always amazed at your gift and how accurate your readings are. Especially wonderful is how much difference you make to people's peace of mind after a reading with you especially with your warm and caring personality. This brings me to why I wanted to request if there was any chance of a personal reading for my husband. He has had a hard, difficult life and been plagued with alot of unrest over the passing of some one close to him yet he always does so much for everyone he knows. He is known as the bloke you can count on for help and that everyone likes but he never asks for anything himself. I would love if you could give him this opportunity as I would like to see his sadness fade. Please email back if there was any chance. You are such a wonderful person, I watch your show every week, I would early love to meet you and I understand this trip is mainly a family holiday, but I live in Port Macquarie this is on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, I love what you do and would have loved to come down to Sydney to see you, however due to my financial status I coudn't even attemp to try and get tickets but I have entered into the competition. What i'm trying to say here is, I would like to invite you and of course your family to my home in Port Macquarie, I understand you probably wont be able to come but I think your wonderful and i would be honoured to show you around

I'm so upset that I missed out on your show, checking every one hour on Ticketek to see if another 3rd show would be announced, you are so popular that tickets are being sold for over $600.00, believe me if I had the money I'd pay over $1,000.00. Hi Lisa! I've recorded all your shows on Foxtel and love to watch you! Totally love your approach to your gift and sharing it with others. How lucky you are! The only sad thing is you're not coming to our side of Australia! (That's Perth by the way!) Why Not? All your shows are SOLD OUT in Melbourne and Sydney already, so no point in attempting to fly over there. PLEASE! Consider adding Perth on your next tour? I was prepared to fly to Melbourne or Sydney to go to your show, but all your tickets sold out so quickly! Ah C'mon... You have such a bubbly, wonderful easygoing personality and I always feel 'comfortable' (right word?) watching you in your show on Lifestyle (Foxtel). We watch all your shows as a family every week! My husband was a sceptic until he we started watching you! we were watching another medium but since we discovered your show on foxtel he won't watch the other one! It is funny hearing him from saying "this is crap" to watching your show and saying "how great you are and how does she do it she is scary" so thank you lisa we are going through a lot in our life at the moment so it is good to sit down and watch you helping people in so many ways you have helped us by giving us the thoughts that our loved ones just may be out there helping us its good to hear!We live in Brisbane and couldn't make it to your shows in OZ but please come to Brisy in Sept. we understand you can only do what you can do.(but please)Have a good stay in Oz all the best to you and your family xoxoxBrony

I was in LA last October, and as I walked down the streets I was hoping you would walk past me and my family and start talking to us. That's another reason why I can't believe I am missing you in Sydney.

I was hoping for so long you were visiting Australia and I only found out after all tickets were sold out, I joined this site so I can know when in September you will visit so I can be sure to buy tickets.
