Fresh start!
Friday, December 4, 2009 at 10:28PM Following on from yesterdays blog... AND...
The case arrived 3 hours before show time... yippee... however the boys opened it... NO Gear! No Camera, tripod, ipod, DVD player, ipod recorder... Nothing! So sadly New Haven, Kingston and also Pensacola shows have been lost, so there is no audio that will be put up on the site.
i remembered back and it was this time last year that I had all my jewelry stolen too and so it means, yet again that someone obviously needed it more than me and they have a new camera for Christmas.
However Ryan and Steve worked like crazy and got everything sorted... like the amazing stars that they are... and finally we had a show! whoo hoo and what a show!
I wish every show was like tonights, the energy was fantastic, and every reading was amazing and it's clear to see that people who needed a reading got it.
The young lady who's brother and sister was murdered and then the grandmother who died just before, the woman who's mom had passed away and was a hoot... there were so many. But the one that touched my heart and shocked me a little was the one where a young boy died in a car accident and the mother didn't know why or how it happened.
I ran through the final moments with her of her sons life, and it was clear that he swerved to miss what to me looked like a deer and then ended up in a tree. I showed her the monopoly board and with that he showed me that he had the dog in spirit and also she still had his shoes, and then I started to say sting, sting... well I had no idea what it was and even Steve admitted after that he was worried as this kid wouldn't have been in to Sting. But I sang Every breath you take... and then I was told that the P Diddy version was played at his memorial last week... OMG you could have knocked me down with a feather!
So all in all it was a great night.
I knew it was going to be a day like this, and no matter what, there was no changing it. But I realize why... I know why this has happened and to me, it's about clearing... as they say, out with the old in with the new... and that is why this has happened!
So take a look as the New Year approaches and see what you need to leave in 2009 and approach 2010 with a new fresh start!
Much love and 2 more sleeps till I'm home!
Hugs
Lisa xx

The readings sounded amazing!! I must say... you really have a way with adjusting your mindset to turn a cruddy situation into a not so bad one.... Very admirable! Everything happens for a reason... and I liked how you said someone else obviously needed those things more than you... (although, I have to admit, the principle of the matter still bothers me... but such is life!).
Please stay safe and safe travels!!
and yes... Out with the old! In with the new! Bring it on 2010!!
xx
You are speaking the words l need to hear. December the 30th my 3 kids, young brother and l are moving out of the family home and into our new rental. l will be starting the year as a single mother and l am ready. New beginnings, new experiences, new life.
Whoo hoo, two more sleeps, sounds better than Christmas itself..There's no place like home!!! XXX Love Stace ..P.S ..I remember your blog about the time your phone went missing..Still, no excuse for someone taking camera equipment that doesn't belong to them..You're a legend for staying so cool...
Lisa, your show was amazing last night. I hate the camera equipment went missing for the sake of those who got a reading. After the show waiting in the members line I was in front of the lady who's brother and sister came through and I just had to hug her.
I don't understand how skeptics can exist with someone like you.
Hi Lisa,
I am so glad that after all choas that your day today seems better, reading your blogs, there is always something you can take away and build on. Being able to let things go that you have little control of changing is a way of letting all those frustrating situations not linger and aggravate oneself...
I can't wait to you are home enjoying some of Lisa time with your family. I hope your parents had a safe trip and that you have a nice holiday together...
Terry
Someone must have needed the camera and equipment more than you and the boys did, huh?
Glad that you and your crew are well and unharmed in any way.
Safe travels, Lisa.
peace...deb t/illinois
Sending you much Love Ms Lisa!!
All My Love Sunday
hey lisa,
wow - what a post! i feel blown away by the p diddy moment, and well, your attitude to the missing camera is admirable. if only we could all let go so easily!
glad to hear you're on the home stretch, and i will continue to wait eagerly for your next installment!
xx
After reading your post about the missing camera gear I received a phone call from a dear friend who'd just come home to find her house had been broken into. I know she will follow along with you on the belief that someone must have needed her things more (might take a few days) but what hurt her the most was that a little box, made by one of her sons when he was 3, was stolen too. It made me pause and truly consider what is important in my life.
Like Vy, the principle of theft bothers me but I think there is a lesson for all of us in this.Today would be a good day for a gratitude list. I am very sorry to you and the people whose shows were lost. I am very happy that you and yours were safe.
:) Amy
I went to your show last night .What a wonderful gift you have. God Bless .Maureen
I went to your show last night. What a wonderful gift you have. Maureen
Lisa i have to agree, What an admirable attitude. Ya cant fix it by getting bent out of shape the stuff is gone. But it aint right and someone is abusing their position handling luggage and that is a national security risk cos if they can take something out they can just as easily be doing the opposite so from that point of view it could be very serious. Awesome readings just so heart warming getting messages from our loved ones that are just beyond the brow. So touching to hear their stories and that they got the conection their heart needed to hear.
Big Yorky Hugz & Much Love N Light

Great blog Lisa... These stories are astonishing !
"A fresh start"... that is exactly what I need... ;-)
Have a great day !
Much love,
Lise
I was at your show last night and happy for those that were fortunate to interact with you. However, so disappointed that you didn't make your way through the audience as I had been told is your customary approach. How wonderful would it have been to see more audience members benefit from your gift rather than have you spend extended time with so few?
Great attitude regarding your missing items~ and the show went on without a hitch!
There you go again....being a positive, inspiring soul! Somebody steals thousands of dollars of gear and you find the positive by noting they needed it more than you and they got a nice camera for Christmas....you're something else! Love ya girl! Enjoy the show tonight! Hugs!
I went to your show last night, AWESOME, I was so excited to meet you & get a picture with you. I had a strange dream last night. I was dreaming in my dream that night after I had seen your show, it was a really strange dream about people trying to kill me & beat me & all kinds of weird stuff. And I was trying to contact you about it, cuz I thought it was related to the show somehow, I live in Bradenton about 10 minutes from Sarasota, & in the dream I hitched a ride to Coral Spings to find you & I did, in which I explained to you about it really fast & gave you my number to call me. Than I went back & was still having those dreams. There was a lot more to the dream, but I won't get into it. I bet I had a restless night.
Was so sorry to hear about your equipment being stolen.
I was so excited about meeting you that I forgot to tell you that I just loved your book, I read it in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down. Can't wait for your new one & your new show too. It was a FANTASTIC show, thank you. I liked when you said Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays, much better.
You are Blessed Lisa. All the best to you & your family.
Peace,
Tammy
Hi my love, Well after tonight you will be on your way home! I am so sorry to hear
about all the camera equipment that was taken by someone who must have
thought they needed it more then you.. Yes, i remember when you lost all of your
jewelry last year around this same time. What I really love is the way you handled everything.. Good for you my love. As far as 2010 goes I do hope its a lot better then this past year. Again, it all depends on ones outlook on what is important and what isn't!
To each his own. when you get home do enjoy your time with your mum and dad and of course Charlie and the two dogs!
Love to you always,
Mary
Hi Lisa,
Feels ''craps'' to see that your equipment was stolen.....Red pepper and Skin rash powder should be added to your equipment to see Who's responsible for this!
But there is always a karma attached to it and the person who did it will have it in return.
However you manage to get a good show and it's fun to see that put your words into action and made it happend!
Have a great weekend,
Friendly yours from the East Coast
;0)
Good afternoon Lovely Lisa,
What happened to honest Employees, Respect, Manners, Pride, "Thou Shall NOT Steal".......as I said before, especially down here in Fl. I just shake my head~crime happenings & some people here (I was just born here, but that is all) Shall I say, is NOT my cup of Tea!
Yes, 2010 will be different, but for each of us there are different events that will happen before one can depart.
For some reason I feel the film/audio, the person or persons will look you up and I pray they see all the notes, blogs and (if they have any morals of 1 % along with the guilt= RETURN ANYTHING YOU HAVE BACK TO LISA.
"Please** Shock me 1 good time, in a POSITIVE WAY. THAT WOULD BE REFRESHING DOWN HERE IN NOT LOVELY SO. FL.~Thank you. God does See ALL~ BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!!!!!!!!
Ok.... Is it NEW YEAR'S EVE YET? Bring on 2010.
hugs to you, and be ohh soo glad, you do not live here. Trust me, it's trying, makes you like Bull. Tonto say. ha ha.. The Lone Ranger Show.
;-)
Dearest Lisa,
What a pity you have lost some of your recording equipment as well as three of the audios of your shows... I am sure there will be some members who are going to be very disappointed about that. I hope that the Sarasota show recorded okay, because it sounds like it was a very profound one and I would love to listen to it as I am sure would many others.
Steve and Ryan sound like the best crew ever, and I get the feeling they love you to pieces... you are very blessed to have them support you so faithfully and be with you every step of the way.
By the time you read this, it will probably be only one more sleep... you sound like an excited school kid, you do!!
Love you to bits and wish you a wonderful journey home,
God bless,
Jeanette
I'm go glad you blog, too. What a great reminder!
Hello Lisa;
I was at your show last night in Sarasota Florida, and it was the first time I have been to any sort of show like this. Enjoyed it very much. When you had the problem with the cuts on your hand, I almost raised my hand. You see, I not only cut my hand on a broken Christmas ornament earlier in the day but had a mishap with a knife making dinner before I came to your show. Guess I was one of those who decided to observe rather then draw attention to myself. Many blessings to you and safe travels.
PS. Loved your pink coat. I was wearing a shorter version in cream. Something wonderful about wearing handstiched art.
Lisa, thank you for the reminder that when one door closes, another opens....xox Safe travels back home -- and I hope it goes real smoothly (no more stolen property!).
Your audience was very fortunate in FL!! Sounds like a wonderful show! You are simply amazing --
Hi Lisa!
My mom and I saw your show last night-we were center front at Sarasota. It was the first time I've seen you live, I'm a big fan of your show on Lifetime! I was so amazed and I can't wait to see you in person again. Of course I was hoping for a reading, but after hearing the readings that evening I knew others needed readings more than I did! Thanks for doing what you do....you're my idol!
Lisa, I saw your show last night and it was amazing. I also saw you with John Holland in Tampa last month. It's been a terrible year for me and your shows have been very comforting to me. I could really relate to what you were saying when reading for others. I truly believe that the spirits are coming through to me through these other readings. Thank you so much for sharing your gift. Have a blessed holiday season.
