Getting back to normality!
Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 09:15PM Well I am officially Disney'd out! Yes tomorrow we leave Disney, and Charlie, Mike and Jonesy leave to head back to LA and I continue my travels preparing for the next few show dates in December in Florida and writing my new book, "Do you want to know everything?"
I am so excited to be writing this but I have to get back into the 'zone' of writing... So I have my playlists prepared and my writing pad at the ready, I will be tuning in to the spirits that are around and I am staying away from the shops... Back to yoga, meditation and writing... Love it!
Mom is also preparing to come over for a month too tomorrow, she leaves Spain and then heads over and will be in LA on Monday, I can't wait to see her, but everyone else will get the pleasure of her company first... Oh Well and Dad is flying out a week later, so the family will be back together for the first time in 3 years at Christmas, I'm so excited all except for my brother.
Charlie can't wait to be home with Max and Lucy as they haven't been home for a month either what with all the travel so finally the family is getting back to normality...
Sometimes it's great to travel and visit different places but there is also something nice about heading back to normality and chilling out... I love it. Being able to sleep in your own bed, walk the dogs, go to the local store, chat with the neighbours, take Charlie to school and cook in your kitchen (not that the last one happens very often). Getting back to normal is important for us all... it's like we all need it. We all crave it. But then there are those that want the opposite who just want to get out and leave, and have a change of scenery.
Thats is perfectly ok also... but me I am looking forward to getting back to normal, and heading home.
It's important to create a space that is right for you, even if it's a small space, a shelf, a place on the wall... wherever it is, you create it and have something on there to look at which is just for you!
Have a wonderful day!
Lisa xx

What a perfect way for you and Charlie to spend Chrissy, with family. You would appreciate home even more now as you travel so much. It's nice to have familiar faces and be in your own space, especially around Christmas time. Hugs Racca xoxo
Dearest Lisa,
You are absolutely right... I love getting home after a trip, especially to my own bed and our animal family, oh, and I mustn't forget, being a couch potato on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon with my favourite book... lol.
I must say, I think you have awesome friends in Mike and Jonesy, as I am assuming they look after Charlie for you while you are travelling. It must be so comforting knowing that he is in good hands.
Christmas is wonderful when it can be celebrated with family... the more the merrier. Ever since my first grandchild was born 12 years ago, Christmas has been celebrated at my home, and I simply love it! There is always a full house of family, friends and children, a table fully laden with scrumptuous food and yummy puddings and the hugest Christmas tree I can find with lots of pressies... of course, this is the childrens favourite part which generally includes them having helped me put up the decorations as well. One of my favourite memories of my childhood is Christmas at my gran's house. She didn't have much money, but used to save the whole year so that she could buy her 17 grandchildren lovely presents. It is such a special memory that I feel very strongly about passing it on to my own grandchildren.
I wish you the best of times back with your family and close friends. Remember to savour those moments and make the best of them as they are the making of childhood memories to look back on when Charlie is older, especially if your mom and dad are with you as well. And judging by your cooking abilities, I would say your mom's presence is very badly needed... lol.
Love, hugs and blessings,
Jeanette
Oh shoot... another long response... so sorry, I just type where my heart takes me, and before you know it, I have typed a long message, and I can't tell how long it is until I post it. Hope no-one minds... and I suppose you can skim it or not read it... lol.

Hi Lisa,
Getting back to normality is like getting back to Home even if your away from it physically.
Good to see also that all your family we be together for X-Mas ....those are precious time and moments.
Have a good writing get your pens ready!
Hi Lisa, you have not mentioned Kevin lately hope you two are together.
Good morning Sun Shine, I am sure you are tickled pink to have your parents with you this Christmas. Enjoy them and your times together. GIve a big squeeze to Charlie for me. Normality? I didn't know you knew what that meant, LOL.
XXX
Awwwww..... getting back to the comfort zone.... the place you can walk around with your jeans unzipped if need be :) love it!! Love to go.. love to come back... the best of both worlds!
Now that you're all Disneyed out....wishing u many spiritual blessings in hearing from our angel loved ones to help u with your upcoming new book...can't wait to read it!
Sounds like you'll be having a nice Christmas holiday with the family. I might do the opposite & take that 14 day Christmas & New Year's holiday cruise with hubby to get away from our surroundings....need some non-normality! God bless. XXX
Safe Travels to you, Charlie, your mom and day, Mike, and Jonesy! May your holidays be filled with peace and lots of love, laughter, and happiness!
Home is where the heart is.
Big Hugs xx
P.S. Jeans are too uncomfortable to wear at home or in our comfort zone, Ally! lol Stretchy pants all the way! ha ha I know, I'm lame. =P

Hey there Lisa,
Absolutely, chill out girl whenever you can! I hear you loud and clear. It is really nice to break away and do something different, but there is no place like home. So put on those PJs and go 'chillaxin' when you get home. :) Seriously, I hate to admit that as I get older, the more routine I need or I start to feel out of sorts. At least you are able to get in the 'zone' while away from home (you have a travel routine). Enjoy that time as I am sure more interesting stuff will emerge as your pen will be dancing it's own sweet melody filled with Spirit music.
That is so awesome that you will be spending Christmas with your Mom and Dad. I am sure it will be special.
Love~n~Light,
DS
Lisa, it seems almost every time that I check your blog -- what you write about that day, pertains to something I am also feeling! This amazes me & I love it! As you also amaze me, and I Love you so much!
I just returned from a week with my hubby & his family....there was nothing better for me, although exhausted, to come back to my own home yesterday. My own space again. Remembering to love myself as I am again, instead of losing my self esteem on those who dont appreciate who I am.....ugh. Ive been traveling every month (not as much as you -- I dont know how you do it! lol!) since last April. Im looking fwd to nesting again.....and thank you again for your post! Besides, when Im home -- I also get to play catch up with my favorite medium!!!! xox
Heading out Thursday to see you in Sarasota on Friday. We're all so excited about seeing you again and of course we'll be in the meet and greet line. Travel safe and enjoy the sites in Florida outside of WDW.
