Savannah!

Well we left Memphis and hopped on the tour bus, and this was a home away from home... I have this bedroom at the back and a closet and shower... ohhhh I love it. So it took us 10 hours to get to Savannah and we laughed and joked and then I slept and worked and then slept again... it was so great not to worry about gettin on and off planes, running for a connecting flight and worrying whether my bags will get there.

Its fantastic, and I am fortunate to be traveling with two amazing guys who are so relaxed and put up with my ways... It's great.

We arrived in Savannah and went to Vinnies pizza place, it was the only place that was open and did GREAT pizza!!! It was fab!

So the show tonight was lovely, a small crowd but intimate, we had some character's both dead and alive and then we had some moving stories and funny stories. It was great.

We are now back on the bus, and we are all in our jammies.... Ryan caved and bought PJ's as Steve and I have ours... I spent all day yesterday in my jammies... I loved it.

What is good about any work is when you work with amazing people. Yes of course I love my work, and that makes it great, but to work with fabulous people makes life so much easier, and I work with a great crew, in and out of the office, and also the venue tonight was fabulous too....

So even though you may not like your work your work collegues may make all the difference to your day and you never know the reason why you have been thrown together!

Big hugs and happy days!

Love

Lisa xx

Lisa, I am sure the bus is a lot more relaxing than the planes. And somehow sleeping while you are riding down the road is just so good! LOL I know you were glad to have a day of relaxation yesterday. You stay so busy. Don't know how you do it all, and still have all the energy you do. Always just seem so bubbly. You should get some pics of inside the bus! Have a great time on the rest of your tour!

It is sooo true I am working on my doctorol degree and I love my area of study however, without my amazing friends that make up my studying support group I would never keep at it with the same passion. I am blessed to
understand what you are talking about!!!

Lisa I found out about your show in Savannah late in the week and sadly was not able to go. I have a brother who has passed and it would be wonderful to hear from him for my self and my mom and dad and other brother. I am going to try to catch up with you in the Florida area or maybe count Basie in Red Bank NJ. I see from your blog that you love Pizza so when your in Red Bank you have to go to Gianni's the Pizza & food is fantastic and they are like family to me. My best friend actually owns it and has come to Richmond Hill to partner with me. So next time your in the Savannah area you will have to come to our Gianni's! Enjoy your trip and hope to catch up with you soon! I will be checking the messages incase he comes to you before then.

Hi Lisa,

I just found out about you being in Savannah last night when you tweeted that you were in Atlanta. Me and hubby both managed to get off work today to go running off to Savannah to see your show. It was his birthday present to me, since I've been hoping for contact with my loved ones for 40 years now. I didn't get a reading, but your energy and warnth was wonderful! I fully enjoyed myself, and will have to go to Savannah sometime when I can see the sites too. This was my first time, and we made it just in time for your show! Thank you for being who you are, and sharing so much of your time helping others. Have a great tour!

Hi Lisa,

I'm from South Carolina and just got home from your show (a 3 hour drive, it's 3:30am) and I very much enjoyed it. You are so bubbly and funny. You are such a lovely lady and your warmth and caring is so genuine. Our outfit was fabulous! I've seen all of your shows on Lifetime and can't wait for the new ones! I was hoping for a reading but did not get one but that's okay. Maybe you'll be in my area sometime soon and I'll be there for sure! I love your hair!

Take care and God bless,

Your show is amazing, and last night was my second show in a year! Last year I saw you in Jacksonville! Thank you for the amazing work that you do, and I know that one day I'll get to hear from my loved ones. If someone had told me three years ago that I would go to see you in person I would have said no not me. The bus sounds like a great way to travel with your family and treasure your time, because you never know when it is going to be your last trip. I'll continue to watch for your return to a city near by, and have a wonderful holiday season.

Am loving the mental picture of you in your jammies on the bus... and just think, but for the trials of all that airport travel, you wouldn't appreciate it quite so much..... ahh... it sounds so relaxing......

So ok I reposted your twitter photo of the bus on my FB wall, and now some of us want to use it for Glastonbury... ok? Can you please put it (and me) on a barge and send it over the pond? Ha ha...

Dear Lisa,
Well, thanks to Dee, I think my computer is sorted at least, which means I can post comments without them getting lost somewhere in space. Dee recommended I download firefox and here I am!!

Sounds like you are having an awesome time. I have been saying to my hubby that the next holiday we take overseas, I want to hire a camper and travel for miles around Europe and try and trace our family roots. You have just reinforced what a great idea it is!!

Lisa, you are right, your work colleagues can and do make all the difference. I have made some wonderful friends over my working career. One wonderful woman was a boss of mine for about 8 years all together, but spread over a period of 20 years or so. She became my mentor and my dearest friend. She has since passed but I still feel a connection to her and have dreamt of her. What a wonderful person she was, and she played such a pivotal role in my life and taught me so much. She helped me grow, and guided and praised me every step of the way. We were also a group of about twelve girls working with her so of course there were moments of enormous fun and silly moments which I will always cherish.

Talking of silly moments... I think we are losing our minds in the chat room... became penguins yesterday and started the march of the penguins, except we had one alien who refused to conform! We had such a laugh, started doing a penguin dance which Kyle conducted (which I think was in your honour... but I was a bit confused at this stage and laughing too much). Then Sammo was trying to get out of going to a 21st so we suggested she make the excuse that she needs to "Save the Penguins" or sumfink... it was so funny. Some real nutters in your family Lisa, but must say I love em to pieces!

Hugs, kisses and blessings all round,
Jeanette

Hi Lisa
Thank you so much. I was very fortunate to receive a reading last night. I suppose that maybe I was somewhat a little skeptical...BUT NOT ANYMORE. You relayed things to me, about my family, that you couldn't possibly have known about. I'm still in a bit of shock and disbelief. I suppose the most important thing, to me, about the reading is the fact that everyone on the otherside seems to be in a pure state of love, joy and happiness. I miss them all terribly, but it's comforting to know that they are still with us and see all the important things in our lives every day.
Thank you again, Lisa, for everything.
May God Bless You.

Mary

PS If any of doubt Lisa's amazing gift....don't. She is a wonderful person and can change your life. She changed mine and gave me a very special gift last night.

Hi Lisa,
My brother and I came down from Columbia last night to see your show in Savannah. We really enjoyed the show. We were disappointed we didn't get read and we both guessed that we just didn't pester Mom enough the days leading up the event - ha ha! It was great to see you in person after watching you on TV over the past couple of years. You are such a bright spark! Thank you for sharing your gift with others. Best always,
